I know, you kindof people are amazing.
I once peed in a cup for a urine-test for bladderinfections. The doctor had assured me the seam on the cup (that seemed to be suspicious) was totally fine.
I then enthusiastically smashed the cup on the counter, and out of nervousness more screaming than saying; 'Héééres my urinesample!'
Turns out the seam was not a seam, but a crack. The cup more or less exploded and both elderly ladies were covered up to their turtlenecks in the pee, while it somehow álso soaked the documents they had been writing. I don't know, but there was só much urine in that cup.
And I shit you not, the lady on the left gets her personal coffeemug (that was completely dry and empty, she was about to get coffee, but hadn't gotten around to doing that yet) and holds it under the stream of urine pouring out of the cup.
She 'catches' the last bit of urine in her mug, hurries to the kitchen, while the other lady is trying to wipe her glasses clean and tells the lady on the phone that there is 'an issue with the documents, I have to call back later.'
Meanwhile I'm trying to apologize for everything, the people on the waiting-bench are laughing their bums off and the adorable lady comes back with a test-strip and her coffeemug, going; 'I tested it for you, it is a bladderinfection, I'll print you a recipe!'
She was drenched in my pee and she still took hér personal coffeemug to catch the last drops of my urine and test it for bladderinfection. I mean come on...that's a professional.

Think about it- the seizing of the means of production, the people that own that stuff aren’t going to want to just hand it over, therefore there must be violence involved. Also putting all power into the hands of one person will almost always end in corruption. If it’s that easy to abuse then how good is it really?

When he mentioned how many people don't go to the doctor because of embarrassment I thought to myself that there must be some Fox News pundit or something similar who cites the numbers of doctor's visits in the UK and states that it's not such a big deal that people in the US can't afford to see a doctor, because even people who can afford it eventually find out that they don't need to see a doctor this often and that this is why even people in the UK don't go see a doctor so much.

I'm now 20 and getting regular treatment for my condition from dieticians, endocrinologists and gynaecologists. I'm so glad I went to the doctors now bc I might have saved my fertility for the future. This sounds stupid, but after about 2 years of struggling to see, I finally went to spec savers. If I had gone earlier, my sight wouldn't be so damaged. This even bothered me during GCSEs honestly just go to the doctors, you might in theory lose your dignity, but by doing so, you save your life. Keeping shit to yourself isn't helping you or anybody. At some point it's going to pop its ugly little head, and that dignity you were trying to preserve goes down the drain along with your wellbeing.

      Well done Mellon nuggets!
It's hard to do anything when you can't see properly.
In preschool I didn't have any problems, but when I started 1st grade my mother got reports that I acted up more and more in the classroom and was moved further back due to bad behaviour. She took me twice to the doctors at the hospital for an eye examination with they saying no glasses needed. Not satisfied with the answers she took me to where she got her glasses and got me checked. I needed glasses immediately. After that I could follow the instructions in the classroom. If you're still having problems, get a second opinion.
      Good luck.

I had a similar issue - I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis after 6 months of ignoring bleeding like Russel; the only reason I went to the doctors was because I threw up at school, and had to come clean with the nurses when they realised my blood pressure was dangerously low. They tried 7 times to get blood out of me for a blood test, and when they did, my haemoglobin count was 53 - for context, a healthy count is 130-150 (I had a third of the blood humans are supposed to have). I was rushed to a specialist hospital in an ambulance, and I had two blood transfusions and an iron infusion over the course of two weeks; the doctors told my mum that I might not make it my first night at the hospital. I was in hospital for 12 days, and was on steroids, iron tablets, immunosuppressants, and anti-inflammatories at the same time for years; at one point I was taking 19 pills a day just to keep my body alive. Now, I'm only taking 7, and doing much better.
Moral of the story, if you know you have a serious problem, SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. I'm so incredibly luckily that I went when I did, or I wouldn't be alive. If you live in the UK, or a country with free healthcare, there's no reason to hesitate. There are only two outcomes, either there's nothing wrong and you survive a mildly embarrassing talk with your GP, or you get help for a serious condition early before it can do more damage. Please, if you're reading this and know that you should see a doctor, call your GP RIGHT NOW, and get it over with.

I ignored my symptoms for around 8 years because I was too scared to find out what’s wrong with me. I had blood in my stool, lost weight really fast, had no appetite and I seriously felt like I was dying! At some point my body decided enough is enough and I was rushed to the emergency room. After multiple tests and visits to the doctor I had to get a colonoscopy and that’s when I finally found out what’s wrong with me. I had Crohn’s disease and the doctor that treated me in the ER was so shocked that I stayed silent for that long! Thank god I’m still alive. My mom is a nurse and was always open to me talking about any medical concern I had. That's why I never had a problem talking about health problems. But in middle school o realised for some reason everyone else was embarrassed to talk about it and I didn't understand it. Like with periods for example. Every woman has them, yet most are embarrassed to talk about it. I mean I hate my period, but at the same time it's incredible to me that my body built a home for an embryo and gets rid of it, because there is no embryo and it wants to build a new one.

My mums a Senior Staff Nurse, for most of her career she was a Cardiac Nurse, she told me many a story that actually made me go into Nursing myself (Currentlya rapid Response HCA but aiming to get my degree), this one stands out abit.
A bloke in his early 50s came into CCU with what is called a myocardial infarction or Heart attack, this one was very very bad.
This was Christmas day, he had a bit of chest pain but thought "Its okay I'll take a nap" abit later his wife comes up stairs and see he's abit worse for wear and calls an ambulance.
He's rushed to hospital, then into CCU.
He never came out of hospital as it was too late, if he hadn't ignored that chest pain he'd still be alive.
It's an important lesson to the older blokes especially, don't ignore it, call an ambo.
