Thank you for the video, and congrats for your great job servicing this movement. I'm currently servicing the same ETA 2408, and I can't figure out how to put back the date disk. In your video, this part of the reassembly is hidden (27'55'') and seems pretty easy. How does that part "fit" back into the mechanism ?
I think you are referring to what’s often called the date corrector which is what I’m placing on the movement at 27m34s. The extended end slots between the date wheel teeth. The corrector should have spring tension on the side opposite of the wheel. The disassembly part of the video might clarify it some at 4m. Does that help?
Thank you for your reply. I think I managed to place the date corrector by pushing towards the spring with a needle. I heard a click which seems to indicate that it is correctly placed between the teeth of the disc. So I think I understand how it works. For the moment the disk is moving but still has difficulty turning until the next date. Maybe the lubrication is insufficient somewhere. Thanks again for your advice!

@@CyclopeChannel That would seem correct. Sometimes I use very sharp tweezers, but usually an old oiler.
