The "facial recognition" thing is a no for us. While seemingly innocent, it's just another way the Gov't can track you....yes, I said that and it's true. I hope it's optional cause that'll be a deal breaker for a lot of folks.
I don't see a problem with it. To me it's no different then you picture being taken automatically when on any amusement park ride or at different attractions in an amusement park. They are digital so if you don't buy they just get deleted. I'm pretty sure you'd be surprised how many places are taking photos as well as video as to visit those being for security purposes. These days if you don't want your picture taken for any reason you might as well stay home. Even the majority of retail businesses have cameras going at all times.
@@AngelGranni it's NOT just a pic....it IDENTIFIES YOU PERSONALLY....you get your face read and your name is attached to it. You prolly don't believe Ring, Nest and the other doesn't give the Gov't access to it... you'd be wrong there too.
So, why the charge for admission ? All I see is food and shopping. Of course you pay extra for that ! If you don't ride the coaster, I don't see anything to pay for !
I was just wondering about this place earlier today!! Crazy! Man I cannot wait to to come and Vlog this! It looks so good. We have Family in Sevierville
Yet everyone of them is well used. There is almost always a wait time at each. If there weren't so many they would have hour long or better wait times to get to ride.
What a beautiful place. Can't wait to check it out. Planning to come up from North Mississippi sometime during the Christmas holidays. Thanks for another beautiful, but informative video Ryan.
Raised and retired in Florida. Moved up to my childhood dream: Smoky Mountains and they're destroying it with "progress" like they did Fl. They built on the beaches and now storms wreak havoc on the beach front, homes, etc they put there and surrounding communities. Sad.
This place definitely looks cool and fits the family fun side of town. However I think the obvious play is to wait till the spring to do this instead of December. That way your not dealing with the cold, it’s not Christmas time and they get more of it done. I think I’ll make a day out of it in the spring.
The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Gatlinburg always comes out with all sorts of crazy creations. We will try to cover their Christmas time & new spring creations BCC!
There is a cost if you want to ride the chairlift or the vehicle to the top to enjoy the ranch animals & entertainment Joy. This should help better understand what it is like Joy - ruclips.net/video/rCKzKxTB01s/видео.html
I don't believe horseback riding will be offer, as their focus appears to be miniature animals like Maverick in the video. We will cover all the discounts and details further upon it officially opening in November Macy.
The only problem I see is the narrow road going up. During busy hours (almost all the time most likely) I feel like it would be congested. People who no longer want to wait in line will have to just sit in line in the car?
The road to the top we are on in the video will not be for the public. All parking will be at the bottom near ticketing center and near 5 oaks with overflow across the street at Tanger. Once at the ticketing center you can either get on the chair lift or ride their vehicle to the top.
Awesome video. I'm excited about skyland ranch especially the animals. Hope they have season passes cause I will be going a lot. Thanks for sharing Ryan.
We just got back from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and kept seeing ads for this. I gotta say, there's nothing about this that makes us want to go lol. Another lift, another mountain coaster (because i guess everyone has to have one?), another place with goats (because everyone has to have one ...idk why the area has went from Bears to goats). "Western Experience"??? you do know you're in the Appalachia? Nothing we would wait in line and pay to go to.
I live local and can't wait to go. I think it's going to be a nice change from so many of the "hustle bustle" attractions in the area. This appears as if will have a very relaxed atmosphere. Being 67 years old, I don't need all the fast thrill rides. The open fire pits, and walkways look amazing.
@@AngelGranni We don't look for the fast thrill rides either, but there is Anakeesta which this looks very similar. We just don't go to the Smokies for miniture animals (and goats), cowboy hats, and janky looking mountain coatsers. And as for the "hustle and bustle" there's not a place over there that there's not a line to get in. For $100+ for 2 plus anything if we buy anything...we'll pass. Too many other things to do over there. I can see long horn cattle, goats, miniture horses and cowboy hats for free.
@@MarkLedfordCustomGuitars I understand. Some things just aren't for everyone. We all have our preferences. I am glad there is a variety of activities. If everyone was the very same life would be boring. One of my sayings is " You be you, boo. And I'll be me. " So I for one know I'll enjoy it, as will many others. Everyone will make their own choices about it. And that's certainly OK.

Did anyone else find it creepy that you're going to be tracked as you go around the park using facial recognition so they can sell you some photos?
I was about to comment about this. No thanks!
Spoke to quite a few ppl local and folks that visit often and that is also a deal breaker for them if it isn't optional.

Wow! That place went up in a hurry!
So, why the charge for admission ? All I see is food and shopping. Of course you pay extra for that ! If you don't ride the coaster, I don't see anything to pay for !
Excellent job, Ryan. This place looks like it’ll be so nice when finished . Pick your own candy bar sounds neat. I like that little horse too.
I was just wondering about this place earlier today!! Crazy! Man I cannot wait to to come and Vlog this! It looks so good. We have Family in Sevierville
Just what we need .Another Mountain Coaster 😫lol Great job as always Ryan
If I had a dime for every mountain coaster that opened in the area lol
Yet everyone of them is well used. There is almost always a wait time at each. If there weren't so many they would have hour long or better wait times to get to ride.
Hope ya'll have a Veteran/First Responder Disc along with a Senior.
And a local discount for residents of Sevier county.
Great sneak peek. This promises to be a great venue for everyone especially families. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful place. Can't wait to check it out. Planning to come up from North Mississippi sometime during the Christmas holidays. Thanks for another beautiful, but informative video Ryan.
Thanks. Can't wait to visit this place. They need a plus size for larger people also.. they would sell more.
Is this going to be next to Five Oaks Farm Kitchen?
Yes Amanda!
I knew the area looked familiar! My husband and I went there for dinner our last day of our honeymoon, the food was delicious and we saw horses!
just another roller coaster why spoil the beautiful mountains for this crap!

Awesome you got a sneak preview can hardly wait until you do a tour after it’s open.
Honestly doesnt seem that interesting to me besides the coaster. Kind of blah in my opinion
It's looks bigger than what I thought. My son lives close to that place. We look forward to checking it out
SkyLand Ranch is coming along TM. We will drop a full tour video once it opens next month!

Our pleasure Billy & Renee! We too are looking forward to SkyLand Ranch in Sevierville opening up!
I want to know more about the guy hovering in the air next to the wooden walkway.

Save your money. It was boring 😬
Ty for the preview!!
Ryan, really enjoyed your video! That looks like an awesome place and I wish I had a way to visit! Beautiful views!
R u hiring
Everyone is hiring. Folks just don't want to work.
You need to serve Coke not Pepsi
No one wants Woka Cola. There should be non GMO foods/organic and locally sourced foods though.
Yes to PEPSI. Coke is Woke, they’ve lost my business and my respect.
As long as theres Dr Pepper. ! LOL

What type wireless mic do you use for your vlogs.
If your not riding the coaster is there an admission fee

The ranch looks amazing, can't wait to visit.Maybe I missed it but do you offer horseback riding? Good luck with this adventure❤
I don't believe horseback riding will be offer, as their focus appears to be miniature animals like Maverick in the video. We will cover all the discounts and details further upon it officially opening in November Macy.
Awww ❤ Maverick is beautiful 😊 Looks like alot of fun!
He was a character! Looking forward to seeing him up top once SkyLand Ranch opens next month SMS!

@@AdventureIsOutThere oh ok makes more sense !!
looking forward to visiting
Looks like a nice place to go to with everything they are offering and the views are beautiful ! Thanks for the video !!
Skyland Ranch is going to be great! We are looking forward to trying their new mountain coaster! Thanks Andi!
How are the views from there compared to Anakkesta? Enjoyed the tour.
I would say they are different as on is in the heart of Gatlinburg & the other is further from mountains in Sevierville. Thanks Cherie!
Awesome video. I'm excited about skyland ranch especially the animals. Hope they have season passes cause I will be going a lot. Thanks for sharing Ryan.
This will very exciting 😀 to see when they are all ✔ Thanks for sharing 😀🧡💛💚❤
Our pleasure Pamela! We will do another full tour once SkyLand Ranch is open and do a ride video of the mountain coaster.
Great video Ryan! Looks like things are really coming along there!
Thanks Tawna! We are excited for SkyLand Ranch to open up and do a full tour once everything is 100% complete!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing
So I guess this place is not pet friendly.
I would it will be a no to not cause issues with all their animals up top. Keep an eye on their website for their policy Renee.
This is great Ryan. Thank you
Our pleasure Lois!
Great preview!! Thanks
Our pleasure Lisa! We hope it helps people better understand what SkyLand Ranch in Sevierville Tennessee is like!
👍
Can’t wait to visit 😀
SkyLand Ranch in Sevierville TN should be great family fun once it opens Kerry!
