Among your various BKK 5 star hotel videos that I’ve seen, this hotel won me over to want to stay there. The design and details are mostly purposeful besides great. The swimming pool is perhaps the best I’ve seen and useful for me who enjoys long swim whenever I can. Thanks again.

Wow. The Four Seasons closest to me in Sydney Australia is very dated and pushing closer towards a 4* property than 5*. This brand new Bangkok edition looks incredible. Great vid - clear explanation and very high quality filming.

Outstanding property so embellished, stylish, glamorous, impeccably clean as should be since it is not only the Four Seasons as a top luxury brand but also the city of Bangkok and the country of Thailand welcoming us from all over the world to enjoy to the fullest and feel joyful and triumphant. You did not show us the spa, and/or gymnasium, gift shop. Maybe in a later trip. Thank you so kindly this is definitely a winner and it is in a city not the beachy resorts that are out of this world in Mauritius, Maldives, French Polynesia et al. I must visit in the future Bangkok, Thailand.

I note you say this Four Seasons hotel is the best in Bangkok, though I checked out your channel and it seems you haven't actually reviewed the Oriental. The Oriental has won the best hotel in the world on many occasions and is my favourite hotel in Bangkok, because of its history, its professional and friendly staff, butlers on every floor and its overall ambiance. I am not enamoured by high tech rooms and a press button lifestyle. The Oriental has the Le Normandie", a two Michelin Star French restaurant as well. Different strokes for different folks.
I haven’t reviewed the MO in Bangkok on this channel, but I have stayed there before. I’m sure it would get a similar score to what I gave the FS, but I still prefer the aesthetic and service at the FS (and I don’t care about buttons lol). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

May, my go to hotel Intercon in closed for renovations- so switching to Accor. Also IHG’s loyalty programme refresh is highly disappointing to say the least ….
If you’re willing to give IHG a second chance I’d highly recommend the Kimpton Maa Lai which I absolutely loved. But yeah, I’ve read a lot about the new IHG program- tbh this is why I’m not loyal to any larger brand and don’t seek out status with any. Everything will inevitably devalue. Oh, and thanks for the binge! ☺️

Four Seasons is a fine hotel but location is a bit remote . We stayed at the Peninsula at the end of 2019 and found that even though the rooms are a bit dated but well kept .However they had the best customer service of all Asia including the Shangri La in Singapore . The GM invited us to the cocktail welcome drink very personal touch

Just came back with my ten year son from this hotel and yes it truly was spectacular. Best hardware I've ever seen. I stayed here because of your review. When you are in Jakarta next please please stay at the Langham and review which is my all time favourite. Also tried PH Jakarta which you have also reviewed but Langham (Club Floor) was just incredible.

Drinks are chargeable but I’d still choose FS over Capella.
Stayed at this hotel primarily on your recommendation. Easily one of if not the best hotel I've stayed in.

I think I watch too many flight review videos... when you showed off your room service, the presentation and selections of hummus and bread immediately made me think it resembled a supersized version of a meal in first class.

The Sukhothai is on my (long) short list for Bangkok- just too many great hotels. Next month I’ll be at The Standard, Sindhorn Kempinski and Okura Prestige… I’m thinking the Sukhothai might make it to my November trip haha.

What would be the best for a simple and a traditional wedding in Bangkok? The Siam or Four Seasons?
They’re two excellent hotels with very different styles. If it’s a destination wedding, I’d say go for the Siam- if not, perhaps the FS. Either way though, I’d say both are far from simple ☺️ Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Riva is not open throughout the day. all the restaurants stop serving at 2:30 and reopen for dinner service. Capella has a restaurant that serves all day on the river and is in the same complex. love this hotel though.
Of course, things change. At the time of publishing it was an all day venue ☺️

I would rather come for dining than to stay here. The bathtub sit in a blocked full view of the river by a pillar. No balcony and no full river view. Overall only the hotel common spaces are charming.
As I pointed out there are plenty of room categories that have full river views- some with their own terraces as well, for a price of course. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Your camera's FOV is way too narrow, this hotel is grand but you somehow made it look meek, everything is so zoomed in.
Literally not a single frame is “zoomed in” from the 26mm equivalent lens. If you prefer a fisheye or noisy video- I’m sure you can find plenty on YT.
@@tfft It was just feedback as I watch a lot of these including some of this hotel and yours is a lot more narrow than most which sells it short. A little wider would've been more watchable, it just feels cropped.

most rooms dont have windows = no fresh air. ventilation systems in hotels are always too weak. only terrace room is nice but worth 3k usd

"Charismatic" hotel interiors...the hotel's marketing director must be enjoying a lot of the newly legalized Bangkok buds 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The design is over stylised and looks to be trying to attract the Insta crowd...bad location as well and likely over priced as well. The best hotel overall in Bangkok is still the Sheraton Grande on Sukhumvit. Central location on both the Skytrain and MRT subway lines, connected to the Terminal 21 mall, and one Skytrain station (to which it's also connected) to The Emporium/Emquartier shopping district and three stops to the World Trade Center/Rachaprasong shopping district. They also have very good dining venues and the best most relaxing rooftop pool. The rooms are not the newest but are maintained in pristine condition. I'd take the Sheraton or the Oriental Residence on Wireless over the Four Seasons on the river any day.

Sure, well aware standards aren’t the same in every country… but Sheraton just isn’t a Luxury brand. Have never slept at the SGS but have been there. It seemed nice enough but certainly not what I’d put with the best hotels in the city.
@@tfft The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is a Luxury Collection property. Not even 20 years ago, the Grande Sukhumvit was the nicest Starwood property in Bangkok. There was no St. Regis, no W, no Le Meridien. My company had a preferred rate there. It was and still is a very desirable property. I would expect you to know that! But then again, you will probably delete my comment. Like you have before...Also Four Seasons is probably the most overpriced hotel chain, which is why you didn't emphasize the price. In a city that has many 5 star hotels that cost $150 and sometimes less, paying more than $300 is a waste.

@@tfft it's easy, you pay the same but nicer view at MO, 5000 thb but nicer view and larger suite at SHeraton royal. Or you can consider Ritz carlton HK that is the really nice view worth the money. To be frankly , it's rare to see a luxury city business hotel at such low floor and some of the river view room is a joke cause is partial
