I find it hilarious that we need a video and tools to get to the tools! LOL! Tens of thousands of views, as of today. SMDH! Thank you for this video!
Same. Their packaging is ridiculous for even a $2.99 "tool". We probably pay more for the packaging than the Chinese tool itself...
Thank you! Before finding your video I spent half an hour and sliced my hand trying to get this out. I appreciate you taking the time to film this!!
Glad I can help.
Thank you so much for this video no damage to my ratchets no injuries and my fingers are not sore either 👍
Thank you !! The kobalt breaker bar came with the same style of retail hanger as the HF bar. Glad someone posted a video cuz I was about the destroy the head piece with what I had in mind lol
Glad I could help!
Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind trying to get that chunk of plastic off. 😁
I literally googled 'taking the thing off a breaker bar' and found your video. Same exact breaker bar too.
Thanks friend
Glad I could help!
OMG! Thank you SO much. I looked at about 4 or 5 other videos. And, they all cut that part out of the footage.
Thank you. I never would have figured this out without your help.
THANK U! PACKAGING IS SO DUMB
Crikey. Those are confounding. Thx for taking the time to post.
Thank you for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Lmao! Yooo that's so true! Those packeges are very hard to get off, specialty when the socket ones break inside the socket, i now use die cutters and a torch
Ilike burning things....
Hi, I take them out of the socket with a flat head comes right out,
Fire... Softens things 👀👀
Thanks a million!!!
To remove the cap on the breaker bar, if you don't have a pair of side cutters, try carefully heating one of the tabs you snipped with a match for 5 seconds or so and then twist the cap off. I did that just now and the cap came off easily, and there was no damage or blemishing to the breaker bar.
I did the hulk method and the plastic broke off in the adapter on 2 of them
Bro I really appreciate u
Super Thanks 🙏 Man
Hi, nicely done lol
Thank you
Thanks
Use a key that you don't mind damaging to push up the plastic as well
Ditto w/6548ww 👏
I need to remove plastic from ratchet so that I can put it back on to return. Possible?
I don''t think so, but Harbor Freight will accept the ratchet back for exchange or refund if they can't exchange it. Just bring them the ratchet. If you have the plastic part unattached that will help find it in the system quicker. Even better would be the receipt, but they just ask for your info and they usually can look it up quickly and make things right.
@@PaulsToolReview I actually did it after typing my comment. Thanks
These PEOPLE truly lack any degree of common sense. Imagine giving your customers such a hard time with these tools ?
I hate most of their packaging as well. It's always overkill.
Thanks but no thanks I’m 85 and very retired as well as tired ,
i know an easier way, save your money and time don't buy it
That's always an option
What kind of masochist came up with this packaging! I thought I was going insane trying to get my rachet off. No instructions, ridiculous!
