Absolutely, Benny was the self-described "musical motor" of the group, BUT, Bjorn was able to pull off what Benny once said was the hardest thing to do - namely, to get the words to fit the music. The final product - their body of work, which we all know and adore - was truly a team effort.

There were many reasons why ABBA were so good. One of those being the diverse influences that Benny included in their music... Bach to Brahms Schlager Motown beach boys ragtime etc.... all blended together in their music.

I had totally missed it back when they were a hot item on America's top 40 but I just watched the movie Mamma Mia!! for the first time. What a trip down memory lane. Loved that they were not perfect just actors singing pertinent songs to the story. So, watching the credits and reminiscing about all the Abba songs that rang out in the movie, I was surprised when Amanda Seyfried began singing this song. The magic began as Benny shifted from the opening moments into this subtle but very playful rag-time riff that complemented Amanda's voice so well. It was just her with him on piano. Wow, what a magical sound. It was like they were doing it together for fun. Thank you Benny, and Amanda!
The piano sounded softer and sweeter than when you were younger... The way you play the piano is also more calm... But the piano sounds a bit sad...I wish you health and happiness for the rest of your life...

I was never a big fan of ABBA's music. Didnt mind it but never really gave it much thought. That is, untill i heard this song. Had heard all the other hits like money, mama mia and such. Mom loved it but never clicked with me. But just how this song is structured and the chords and melody was so beautiful. Then i found this piano rendition and i have a newfound respect for ABBA. They were not only one of the biggest groups in their day, but the music was actually great. I wish i could have been a fly on the wall when he was composing this
When I was a boy, ABBA Music were everywhere. And after a while, it was hard to stand it. Because you have to listen to, when ever radio begans to play or the door to the room of my sister opened up, TV , in Cars realy everywhere. But when I got older and ABBA wasn't any longer exist, I became aware, what we all had lost. And that is, why I would type here ... thank you for the music. ❤💓

What an amazing musician!!!! No wonder I love ABBA so much. Yesterday I watched "Mamma Mia, Here we go again" at the movie theather and I loved it, especially the Dancing Queen scene. I got so excited at that scene that I even sang it at the theather. I met ABBA music just 3 and a half years ago and since then, ABBA is almost the only music I listen to. Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-Frid. All of them truly wonderful musicians. All I have to say is ABBA Thank you for the Music. Thank you very much.

A famous Australian jazz trumpeter Bob Barnard once told me-- "have the words of the song going through your head when playing it on any instrument and you'll really put your heart into it." You were obviously doing this Benny in your beautiful piano rendition that must have bought back years of memories for you, and thank you so much for this song I only recently discovered. After being a semi professional jazz muso for 58 years and could play 2000+ songs of various genre without music, this one song entirely sums up my life. Music ;- Universally expressed -- Who could live without it? Where would we be without a song, especially with current and troubled times ahead on this beautiful planet and its no coincidence the that the best songs are declared to be mostly written during WW1, the great 1930 depression and WW2. Ohhh - - - if only music could universally be "an instrument of Your peace".
What a beautiful version. Benny was and is just so good. The performance flair was not in this recording, but the composition more than made up for any lack of showmanship. But I bet he is still quite capable of any flair, that just wasn’t the point here. It is so pleasing to hear a master of his craft. I could listen to this all day.

Musically, it is so beautiful and challenging that it has to be counted among the (classical) music of the late 20th century.

BTW the piano is a Fazioli, a hand made Italian piano (and one of the most expensive in the world!).

What an amazing musician!!!! No wonder I love ABBA so much. Yesterday I watched "Mamma Mia, Here we go again" at the movie theather and I loved it, especially the Dancing Queen scene. I got so excited at that scene that I even sang it at the theather.
I met ABBA music just 3 and a half years ago and since then, ABBA is almost the only music I listen to. Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-Frid. All of them truly wonderful musicians.
All I have to say is ABBA Thank you for the Music. Thank you very much.

Почти все его песни в исполнении группы АББА, чрезвычайно мелодичны, то качество, которого так недостаёт современным авторам песен. You were obviously doing this Benny in your beautiful piano rendition that must have bought back years of memories for you, and thank you so much for this song I only recently discovered.
After being a semi professional jazz muso for 58 years and could play 2000+ songs of various genre without music, this one song entirely sums up my life.

Where would we be without a song, especially with current and troubled times ahead on this beautiful planet and its no coincidence the that the best songs are declared to be mostly written during WW1, the great 1930 depression and WW2.

What a beautiful version. Benny was and is just so good. The performance flair was not in this recording, but the composition more than made up for any lack of showmanship. But I bet he is still quite capable of any flair, that just wasn’t the point here. It is so pleasing to hear a master of his craft. I could listen to this all day.
