Thank you for keeping us updated! Also props to Judd. It must not be easy having to be hospitalized for anaphylactic episodes on top of all the scheduled visits to clinics and such. 💕
wow! you really try to stay optimistic even though you're in a scary situation. i am so amazed by how you handled your hospital day. i cannot even begin to imagine how much it must have sucked.. but you powered through and even managed to inform us about all of it. you really are one strong woman!!
I'm so glad you're feeling somewhat better! Judd takes such good care of you and it sounds like you have a great medical team at the hospital too! Sending good thoughts!❤️
That really scary! I hope you get discharged soon! I am also praying that your doctors can get to the bottom of this and they can get you on the right treatment plan! Sending lots of love and prayers . I am thankful that you have Judd, Harlow and such a great medical team to take care of you!
hopefully you're feeling better now. once, in the ER, I had a party in my room, too. I was on alternating IV reglan and zofran. the second dose of reglan was given to me with IV benadryl, which knocked me out since I hadn't had much sleep. I was very confused when I woke up to nurses and doctors pulling my shirt to look at my chest and asking how I felt and if I was normally that red. I only broke out in hives but was closely monitored for a while and now have reglan listed as a medication allergy. I felt no allergic reaction. it was more confusing than scary for me and staff was more panicked than anyone. hospital parties are scary.
it's actually my only listed medication allergy and, aside from some binders used and tmp-smz (which messes up my stomach) the only med that's made me sick in any way.
Jaquie, I don't know if you will actually see this. Have they tested you for "Alpha Gal"? That is a short name for a very long medical term for a tick born disease. My daughter actually developed this problem. There are many doctors that are not aware of this as it is a new problem. You can have a tick bite you, and either you get it off, or it may come off in the shower, i.e. It can have as much as a six to eight month incubation period. This disease causes you to become allergic to beef, and pork. Often times it is difficult to diagnose because the allergic reaction normally doesn't start until six to eight hours after eating the beef or pork. This is just a thought. We live in Tennessee, and ticks were bad the first part of the summer. Anyone can Google "Alpha Gal" and read about this condition. I do hope you feel better very soon. Hugs
danielgartin6993 yes I am thank you. I carry around an epi pen now, it's just terrifying in the moment and physically exhausting on your body when it happens.
Quit3Cut3 I'll bet,and also I've read that if you've had a mild allergic reaction you're at risk for anaphylaxis as well,my first mild allergic reaction was back in 2016,I got stung by a wasp, and my hand started swelling and itching and what's worse is that I was sleeping when it happened
danielgartin6993 oh wow that's scary. I've eaten nuts my entire life and just this year developed an allergy, so I had no clue I was even allergic to them lol. The human body is an interesting thing.
Looking back now I cry when she says Judd is keeping me alive 🙏🏾.
Rewatching as I just miss her🥺 Hope Judd is doing well as I think of him often especially in April:(

I can't believe how many times you said "So this is good thing", it's so amazing you still can see the bright side of everything.
Do you have a video kind of going over your entire story from childhood, to when you started having more severe issues, and how they progressed?
Oh my gosh, sending you good thoughts! So sorry this is happening to you.
Wow! I spend a lot of time in my local hospital here in Canada and I can honestly say your hospital food looks a lot more appetizing! :)
