These youtuber already got early access a long time ago from CM along with instructions and a specific time to when embargo will be lifted. Uploading before the embargo means they could be blacklisted for leaking early game content. So they all wait and schedule for upload the moment it's lifted.

I think it said ray tracing enabled somewhere at the beginning of the race which should explain why it looks so much more realistic, definitely much more accurate colors when compared to tv than the previous games, im also really curious now to see night races, they already looked amazing before

It almost looks raw, gritty and realistic in comparison to the smooth and more cartoonish 2020. Really looks like the car connects with curbs more like in iRacing for example

At around 6:30: it's not the floor physics that made you spun. It's just another example of Codemasters curbs being greased with badger fat. Spa is the most notable phenomenon, has been for years.
From what I’ve seen the matte is fantastic and the gloss is back to how good it was in 2018 but I still think gloss/metallic/chrome looked significantly better on the Xbox 360/ps3 era games
Anyone else felt like the cars in F1 2021 look a bit faster, due to the field of view of the onboard camera? In 2020, the FOV was small so the car felt slower, but in 2021, it feels fasters.
What do you mean? You can just change the FOV to whatever you want in both games (and older ones) and make the cars look as fast or as slow as you want.
They're slower dude fastest lap times/quali are way slower than previous years with the occasional exception like Max in Barcelona or Lewis lap in Monaco
Imo they still need to fix the wheel movement, it looks like he's doing a long turn on track rather than entering/exiting the pit box, but the tyres and car animation is just way way better than before

Yes mate, I remember talking to you about this on stream back in April and how you weren’t sure if they were gonna give you the gam and this has made my day, finally F1 2021 GAMEPLAY!
It would be cool if they added debris in the air, for example when cars follow behind another car and they get all the rubble and dirty air from the slipstream that would make this game 1000000 times cooler. I know it might take a bit more processing power from consoles or PC but it would be a great addition! Plus it would it make it more of a risk-reward situation when following a car; you can get a slipstream, but follow to close and you might hit the back of the other car or get a bunch of dirty air and spin out when trying to overtake or during corners.
The cars are really weird, the black carbon fibre parts are light gray in some areas, it just looks really weird following a car or looking at cars behind you but the game still looks like it will be amazing
They finally added more realistic physics like tyre load and they added floor downforce. I bought F1 2017 and F1 2019 and I always dropped the games because I could never feel the car and the cars felt absolutely not like F1s lol. They felt like buffed karts and its well.... Not quite accurate 😂
I feel like only have standard fuel mix is a massive change and kind of slept on in this video saving ers is going to be even more important now and not running out of fuel because lean mix really affects the performance of your car from what I have heard

I buy F1 from Codemasters since F1 2012, and they had it in the beginning, but they removed it. :-( Racing Simulation 3 had the most realistic damages, like engine failure and rear wing damage. That game was already released in 2002! Is the AI level the same as in F1 2020? It took me really long to find my level in F1 2020 and F1 2019.
Does it still downshift to neutral if you press the down shifter once too many times? This is extremely unrealistic and I hope they fix it in this release. Sequential gearboxes do not have neutral at the bottom as it is extremely dangerous. All motor bike riders know this and race cars are the same.
@@spforza6522 Of course but it is not at the bottom of the downshift sequence. It's a separate button or, on a motor bike between 1st and second, precisely to avoid accidental engagement of neutral from one downshift too many. Accidental unwanted neutrals are dangerous as well as messing up lap times.
Did you change the camera? I noticed no helmets in your camera view, same with Toms but that wasn't the case with the rest of the people. I always like using the default cameras but always like having a good view of the helmet, your onboard just is too zoomed in to me

As my first F1 game, the game is almost unplayable with a standard PS4 controller. The cars feel like they have a 10 degree turning radius with a controller with the standard setup. This isn't my first driving sim, but this game is not meant for people who haven't played previous F1 games.
The fuel mode change is gonna be interesting because at the moment in f1 2020 my carrer im swiching in between rich, standard and lean like crazy I dont know about you guys but im gonna have to get used to that haha

Qualifying is standard as well. Part of the reason they made that change was because teams would have special engine modes they would only use in qualifying.
Quick question, the F1 cars have a whole new damage model with new punctures, rear wing and floor and side pod damage. Do the F2 cars also have a new damage model?
I just want player mechanical failures such as gearbox, engine, electrics etc also AI to make mistakes. Tyres last too long and you dont notice it much when they are "off"

This is the default camera, but don't forget it's a preview build so that sort of thing can definitely change

How's the force feedback? Is it still as awful as 2020? From your cam footage it seems that it lacks detail.

@_3scap3_ Fanatec DD1 and did whatever I could. The ffb in F1 2020 is downright shit compared to other sims that I race on (e.g ACC, rF2, AM2).
