I'd second that request. Also, if you're going to have your voice comms have them override the music if you can. Hard to try listen to both :) One question, if you were to give your noobier self some advice what would it be?
Dominic Glasspool sure i'll get one out by friday :) definitely would be research, i didnt research enough about other classes but now i play every other class/specc after each expansion to know exactly each cooldown and what to avoid/lookout for

Hi mate, nice vid, really enjoyed it and found it helpful. Not sure if you will see this comment, it being an oldish video but, I wanted to ask a question. I noticed you using the feral affinity in a game, was that specifically because it was against a rogue or was there another reason. When would you advise on using this talent, I know its very a very aggressive play style?
Steven O hey dude, yeah its only versus certain comps i 0lay ferak affinity and only usually if im playing with a ret, i play feral affinity vs affli/healer, asass/healer and frost mage/healers sinve there easy to avoid damage from so you can risk playing agressive ^^

Hey Lonedrood i have to ask another question sorry xP, When do you take feral affinity? Because most games you went with feral affinity rather than guardian affinity. Also keep up the good work! You've helped me loads ^_^
Frosty Teh Duk only vs casters i go feral affinity as you can line there damage when you need to or if your playing with a good ret you can go it vs most melee except outlaw/sub rogues and ferals and ww monks :) i only went feral affinity vs risky games because not many teams queu'd over 2.6k so we met the same teams alot so i got to know there playstyle and tacs ^^ glad to hear dude, thanks! much love
Awesome response Lonedrood! But when you say "a good ret" How do you know if the ret (if you're playing with a ret) is "good"? I've never played ret paladin so im clueless! D: Any help for that?
pretty much one that doesnt burn through his cds or hoj off cooldown, he'l hoj to stop cds if he gets juked or for a burst go when his target has no trinket and one that doesnt waste sanctuary (blessing that removes fears/stuns) one that'l sanc when you 100% need to and not just off cd or if you're playing vs an uhdk or assa rogue he doesnt LoS or range you so you can take max advantage of pure of heart talent and ret rotation is important to do right, rets can lose so much damage by using rotation even slightly wrong ^^

Hey dude! It's really situational in 2v2, 3v3 is a different story but 2v2 i just play it safe with imp. lifebloom :) i'm releasing a guide today explaining alot of things and the reasons behind it which it will answer this also ^^

Ah i see what you mean, i just have it for the 20% increase, using it for the 60% i feel is a waste of mana, atleast in 2v2 ^^

Wow this is incredible for someone learning to play Rdruid. Wish I was this good, want the pvp elite gear for transmog but cant get higher then 1.6k
iMurmurnator rdruid is so hard this expansion. I was 2k wow s3. now I can't break 1.6 even with full hots and free casting it just seems my output isn't there
It's not really the output, It's the incoming dmg you have to mitigate. With cc's and kiting from your dps(or you)
Niclas Vestman agreed. it seems for a healer to be successful right now, your dps has to have amazing awareness and knowledge of when swaps are likely to happen. which just isn't the case for the melee meta.

Hey dude, sure thing! the reason i take it is purely for extra pressure, i'll always put it on my party member thats being focused whenever i can and call out that they have thorns so they know we will have the pressure on our side for the duration, it can also be used tactically for example if you can see a setup coming you can pre thorns it because 9/10 times teams over 2.4 rating will never hit into thorns, they'l always swap targets until its finished, one other way i use this is on myself if my displacer is on cooldown since its almost a perma slow on melee as the slow reapplies instantly on hitting the target (however just a warning, thorns can be reflected by warrior spell reflect)
Thanks for the detailed reply! One last thing (Sorry :P) When i play 2s with my partner i always see that i run out of mana far too quickly and that my HoTs just dont heal much at all. Whilst in your game-play your HoTs are doing all the work. Any tips?
And what do you do if a DPS is absolutely destroying you and you cant seem to out-heal his/her's damage? (as i encounter this a lot... even when in bear form)

Sure thing! i'm not 100% about running out of mana as resto druids seem to be really good with mana this expansion, maybe wild growthing and effloressence being used too much? there the main mana drainers and should only be used situationally,
with hots healing its really about experience, just play tonnes and tonnes of games you'l get used to pre hotting targets before swaps or refreshing the important ones like bloom, i only use swiftmend as an "oh shit" button and cenarion ward if my target goes below 70% and artifact ability if they drop below 50%
with tanking dps vs meleee sometimes sitting in bear form instead of reapplying bloom is better and should always play with revitalize as its pretty op vs melee and demo locks, at least until your team mate can peel for you (in arena alot of kill windows are made by the enemy team trinketting to keep pressure on you when your team mate is peeling so you can always keep an eye out for that advantage if your being trained)
hope that helps! the questions are really situational unfortunately but the best advice is to just play play play, nothing helped me improve more than just playing 40-50 arena games a day ^^
How do you switch between raid/party targets like that? without clicking on the unit frame?
Zahi Farah i have target macros for arena1,2 and 3 and target party macros for 1 and 2, having target party macros was the biggest and most important thing for me to learn as a healer also if it helps my keybinds for party member 1-4 is alt+1,alt+2 etc

Easiest for me is probably ww monk by far, but it all depends how good the ww is, he needs to know when to switch on clones etc

Hey dude, i go feral affinity vs dps that can be kited, because i play with a ret that can dispel my stuns i can choose feral affinity alot more and not worry about being swapped to in a stun, 9/10 times guardian is the safest choice for sure until your more experienced at predicting players ^^
Lonedrood, could you do a guide on what talents you use vs hard comps, as a druid myself i have a hard time trying to outheal some afflication comps and wanted to know how to manage to overcome them... Keep up the amazing videos!

I would love to see something that will tell us what you have up and what you use. There is an addon for this cant remember whats it called but. Awesome stuff I am learning a lot and really want to master my druid. Atm I get two shot in arena but could be because I am only 830 ilevel.

Thanks alot man, appreciate the support! the easiest comp for rating would be ww/dk/rdruid or dk/warrior/rdruid! the very best comps but can be quite hard to play well are rogue/mage/rdruid, warrior/mage/rdruid, warlock,ele,rdruid and ret/hunter/rdruid :)

how come you cant war stomp into cyclone any more people kept saying it works but idk how can i explain that it does not work at all
It's mainly because since legion, cyclone became an honor talent and the cast time got increased to 1.7 seconds which is too long for the war stomp duration, also even worse is players playing with relentless reducing the war stomp even further making it impossible :/

Hey dude! sometimes if i have no cds left and the monk pops something big and i know i won't be able to survive it i'll double skin, rarely do it but when they pop big cds and monk burst is predictable i knew i would have cds back fore his next burst so could trade double skin ^^
