Like I told my kid sister....THIS is real talent! I'm amazed at the choreography--everyone is pure class! Please, Victoria, teach me how do dance like that!
Great Music, I never really liked this song until I heard a version by the James Taylor Quartet. I have now come to appreciate Andy Williams and what a great talent he was. RIP Andy.
It's amazing to think that this song is 45 years old, the difference between old musicians and today's is talent. I can't see anybody listening to Gaga or Rihanna in another 40 years, because their songs get old so quick. But this music, it will always live forever.
I hadn't heard this song probably in 50 yrs. Put some Ella on and she was singing away...I love and loved this song...This was so 1960's Another world.
OMG..i have been searching for this song for 2years already...finally..i heard it at a shopping mall and got hooked...didnt had any idea it was andy williams'..LOVE IT...thanks for posting ogeid69
wow! i love shifts and back-combed weird hairstyles!!! and not to miss the disturbing pink ribbons ;) these people are so lithe and nimble! and not a SINGLE mistake in their steps :)
ευχαριστω πολυ γι'αυτο το τοσο αισιοδοξο και χαρουμενο τραγουδι...το εψαχνα πολυ για να το βρω..!ΥΠΕΡΟΧΟ..!Μου θυμισε ανεμελλα παιδικα χρονα...You make me so happy..!Thank you again
Would be so cool to see *this* on Strictly Come Dancing - Bruce Forsyth and one of the decent female dancers! Would brighten up my Saturday evenings for sure lol
Great video. I think those are The Jack Regas Dancers. I'd forgotten how enjoyable they were to watch. I wish they'd release these old variety shows on DVD. If you have more, please post.
Interesting thing about this song, Andy Williams was not known in the U.K. and in the 1990's, they had a car commercial with this song by Andy Williams, and was a hit! After that, Andy Williams was known in the U.K. and became popular singing star there. Had had some concerts as well.
If given a choice, Mr. Buble' or Mr. Connick. They have the talent, stage presence, and the most important Andy ingredient "class". If you have ever seen their shows, you can see that and a lot of "just happy to be performing for you" attitude. So cool. So decent. So... Mr. Williams.
Well, that was strange. I was trying to post a "sub" reply to a previous message from someone using foul language. The person said they'd preferred Britney Spears dancers to these and then laced their comment with bad language. Now their post is not longer here..... Must be why my reply posted to the top of the list instead of under theirs. Great video, love Andy Williams.
If you are 45, you were born in around 1966. By the time you were even 15 years old, it would have been 1981 already. Still listening to 60's music in 1981? The answer is probably yes for you. However, for a youth in today's world, that is probably an unfathomable concept.
u got a point, all the great 6,s stuff ,still playing, and some of the performers like the stones, clapton etc are still filling stadiums, where will all that rap shit and gaga stuff be then, totally forgotten dude, but the other stuf lives on
The variety, entertainment, talent and a VOICES of the likes of Andy, here, make today's media "stars" look like the crap they are. What a singer....and Edie Gorme', Vickie Carr, Sergio Franchi, et. al.
The dance style looks so similar to Bob Fosse's choreography from around that time (check out videos from "Sweet Charity" for a comparison, especially Rich Man's Frug). No idea if he was involved or not. His influence seems to be, at least. They seem to have changed the original song's orchestration to accommodate the dance number and match a lot of the dance moves, kicks, etc.
I am the 'shorti blondie' first one out and dancing closest to Andy as the shortest.
Vicki Petersen
wow so cool
Like I told my kid sister....THIS is real talent! I'm amazed at the choreography--everyone is pure class! Please, Victoria, teach me how do dance like that!
Wow thats so cool.
Victoria Cuomo Nice to meet you! You were / still are a beautiful woman, indeed!
+Victoria Cuomo Wow!
in spite of 55 years, good music doesn't get old.
Couldn't have put it better myself!!
Great Music, I never really liked this song until I heard a version by the James Taylor Quartet. I have now come to appreciate Andy Williams and what a great talent he was. RIP Andy.
40 years ago, unbelievable, but great, what a voice..

It's amazing to think that this song is 45 years old, the difference between old musicians and today's is talent.
I can't see anybody listening to Gaga or Rihanna in another 40 years, because their songs get old so quick.
But this music, it will always live forever.
Andy was the best singer ever.

I hadn't heard this song probably in 50 yrs. Put some Ella on and she was singing away...I love and loved this song...This was so 1960's Another world.
