Matt Damon never dated any of JK's girlfriends. There was never any rivalry between them. It all started as a joke. Back when JK's show was kinda sucking and had pretty bad guest's. JK decided to end the show by saying "apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time", as a joke because at the time they had really bad guests. Jimmy has closed the show with that line for years, and they carried joke into other gags. Sarah Silverman who was JK's girlfriend at the time did a joke music video with Matt Damon called "i'm fucking Matt Damon" and showed it to Jimmy as his birthday gift.
They have done many gag's, all stemming from Jimmy's closing line to his show, and nothing to do with any actual rivalry. BTW, Matt's been married since 2005.

You are misinformed about the rivalry between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon. It started very early on in the show. He started saying at the end of his shows I want to apologize to Matt Damon. We ran out of time. Eventually Matt came on the show and as soon he sat down, Kimmel said we ran out of time.
Then Matt turned the tables and released the video "I'm fucking Matt Damon" with Jimmy's then girlfriend Sarah Silverman. Matt and Sarah have never dated.
Jimmy responded to that video with "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck"
The rivalry continued in many skits like Guillermo in the Bourne Ultimatum, The Handsome Men's Club, Movie: The Movie.
Finally Damon forcefully came on the show by kidnapping Kimmel and hosting his show.
They followed that with a skit where they tried couples counselling but it didn't work. Followed by the Omaze experience skit.
And most recently the video and episode you just watched.
I really fee like they've stretched it for too long, it's kinda annoying and I feel bad for Matt Damon lol
