Hi ExitSign250, how is your day today? I personally thought that the newer I3 detector was going to go off first. Also I would like to say thank you so much for you inspiring me to get into the hobby of fire alarms, exit signs, door closers ect. Also I would like to ask you a question with regards to the wiring of addressable and conventional systems as is the wiring any different from each other with the two types of systems? Keep up with the amazing content! Thanks
FireSafetyTech170 Thank you very much! I appreciate that, and I’m honored to have inspired you to become interested in these industries and equipment. They really are more interesting than people think. To answer your question about addressable and conventional, I’ll refer you to a video a friend of mine made. He knows what he’s talking about and goes in depth about how these systems operate and how they differ. Here’s the video: ruclips.net/video/ZoMVKnrrLNw/видео.html
I have a white model of the EST genesis ceiling mount shipping and I should get it in today. I am running a wire from my bedroom fire alarm system to the garage. I am also putting in a EST siga pull station. My question is the horn on the EST genesis able to be disabled without cutting wires?
Model number on that multi-candela Gamewell RSS is "72035" ;) (hey, at least it's not a Honeywell-branded one, cuz those model numbers can be quite long :P). Also, gosh, hearing all these alarms going off at once sounds pretty dang loud lol Great video!
Great test video as always! Really surprised about the smokes. I was certain the i3 would activate first, but I guess always expect the unexpected. Maybe I’ll buy a few of those “2400” detectors and try them out
Thanks! I haven’t tried that before, I’ll have to experiment with it. But if it did work, the RSS and EHDL1 would act up since it is the incorrect sync protocol.
@@ExitSign250 Your welcome! True, I've heard that EST Genises's work on the System Sensor sync so I was throwing an idea out there. Maybe for your next test you could use all EST Genises's and test it out. Love your videos!
The Alarming Alarmist I appreciate it! I remember back in the day when I had a house system, I used System Sensor sync when I had both System Sensor and EST devices. If I recall correctly, all of the strobes synced together, but only the respective brand’s horn synced. So the System Sensor horn’s synced with each other, and the EST horns synced together.

Hey there, thank you so much for your comment! It is really an honor for me being an inspiration to you, and I’m happy you are interested in the same hobbies as me! To answer your question, there are some minor differences. For conventional systems each zone requires separate wires. For example, if you had a 2 zone system, each zone would have its own wiring. An addressable system only has one “zone.” It is called the SLC. It is a wire that connects to each and every initiating device. (pull station, smoke detector, etc.) The addressable panel talks to each device individually and determines if a device is in alarm while a conventional panel just waits for a zone to trip. NAC’s are the exact same from conventional to addressable panels. (Unless it’s a newer Simplex system that has addressable NAC’s, which act just like the SLC’s) I hope I was able to answer your questions and please do not hesitate to ask other questions! Thank you for watching my videos!
There is a module to do that, and I own one and it is wired into my demo. It’s the module on the right side. The model is MMF-302. It’s for 2 wire smoke detectors. If you have a four wire detector, you can use a standard module for the contacts and supply the power to it via the resetable power.
I’ve been working on a project involving that for some time now. If it all plays out, it’s not going to be like having my name or logo on shirts, cups, backpacks, etc. It would be something different and unique. I can’t say much about it now, but I hope it will work out soon.
Hi exitSign250 i love this first wall fire alarm its my school fire alarm its really cool! and also the sound of it is also really so thats why i love it sooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!

The only was to disable the horn would be to cut the wires on the inside.
@@ExitSign250 ok
Yay! A new test, its been wayy too long
Yay another board test!
What’s the difference between the Firelite MS-5UD and The Firelite MS-10-UD?
The MS-5UD has 5 initiating zones, while the MS-10UD has 10 initiating zones.
Myles Tech and 10ud has filtered dc while the 5ud has FWR

Awesome! Couldn't you use System Sensor sync to have audible silence on the EST Genises?
Thanks! I haven’t tried that before, I’ll have to experiment with it. But if it did work, the RSS and EHDL1 would act up since it is the incorrect sync protocol.

Cool system! I have a question. Can I directly wire the LED of a simplex 2098-9806 key switch directly to the nacs on an ms5ud? Thank you
Yep! That’s what I did.
@@ExitSign250 awesome. Thanks for the help!
Do you have a module that makes the conventional smokes turn into addressable for 9200udls?

ExitSign250 can you do a video how to do that?
Great system test. If I can make a request can you make a video setting off all 4 of your systems at once
Thanks! I have that planned for a future video.
I have the Siemens one that’s my brand new one but I replace to hex key thing and I put it with a screw
I’ve never actually seen an EST Genesis ceiling mount horn strobe before, it looks really cool
Nice one! Gotta love those addressable Fire-Lite panels! The MS-5UD is nice as well. Keep up the good work!

Can you make an updated fire alarm and exit sign and emergency lights collection?
AJ Butler I haven’t thought about that, great idea! I’ll have to work on that at some point.
Okay, I can’t wait when u post it!
One of these is at my school it’s so annoying it’s that one with the huge light it’s a roof one not a side wall one
I love it all! Those genesis alarms are nice and modern But will we ever be able to request alarms ? I thought you said it at one point
Safe_N_Sound _ Thanks! I do plan a request system test very soon. Just working out some minor details with the requesting process. Stay tuned!
Love the set up man! Great video!
Quick question will u sell merch one day?

Ok nice 👍
Cool! Also I like the est celling horn strobe I use to have it in my old school!
The red one from 1:31? I have it at my school.
1:31 I have that at my school but it's white and the red one might sound the same
Where did you get the siemens pull station
Awesome test! Love the ceiling mount genesis
I’ve heard those red Ceiling Mount genesis alarms aren’t that common. I’ve seen a couple of those around here. Great video!
Thanks! And they aren’t. Same with the speakers and speaker strobes.
I think you should get a lcd80f for the 9200udls.
How can I notice if a alarm is remote strobe or not?
The ceiling mount est genesis looks really nice
My school has those 😎
1:21 hey. This fire alarm is from walmart! Nice to know the type they are.
Very nice! Great board setup you have. Just subscribed!
Thank you so much!
The spectralert advance chime is called chsr
Great setups!
How loud is the spectralert advance chime strobe
COOL!!!!!! I think is is my favorite test you have done
Can u do one of est, wheelock, simplex all in code 3
Hi exitSign250 i love this first wall fire alarm its my school fire alarm its really cool! and also the sound of it is also really so thats why i love it sooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!

Great video 😀👍👍
Very interesting alarms for this one
Hey keep up the great content love it and I’m also first!
the system sensor chime model is chsr
Amazing experience for a fireplace.
Very nice
I think zone 4 on the 10 zone fire shield could’ve been fried
EST Genesis horn gets drowned out by the EHS.
1:38 We have that type of smoke detector in NZ
The White alert strobe looks like a egg
Fried egg
solve: 3x - 5 = 3(6x + 2)
NOICE
I saw all is fire alarm wormeverywhere in Calgary
Wowwwww
Lol I’m here after a fire drill at my school
Can you try one sometime.
tbh i also thought the i3 was going to activate first.
❤
Fbb
It’s a CH2R
The es is really loud 😤
If There’s a real fire all your fire alarm will activate and it’s going to be noisy 😑
