Was thinking the same thing. This is a car for when you get your college degree and find a job. When i was young all me and my friends could afford was old beaters. But hey we had cars! Super happy with my Opel Manta that kind of looked like a rally car 🙃
Hey friend great video. I like to help you point out that this car is not for a student on budget at all. The DX (standard with no AC) or LX would be for student on budget. Even better just get a Yaris from Toyota. If students on budget think they can afford this than it would explain why about over 50% of Americans & Canadians are living pay check to pay check. If you can't afford to pay it off on 3-4yrs than you can't afford it.
BlackVortex thats why it’s best to pay it off all at once. You dont have to pay any extra interest or miscellaneous fees and only pay the original cost :)
Or spend a couple extra thousand and get yourself a Kia Forte FE. Better gas mileage than the Yaris and it's only $3,000 more and way less than any Honda Civic.
Honda if you want more prestige between your trim levels limit them to three. For example: LX, EX, and EX-L, just like small, medium, and large portions. Too many trims causes confusion in consumers. I'm an above average car buyer/seller and the information online is not enough. I can't tell which Civic I would buy.
Honda used to be super simple back In the older 2000s I believe they should bring it back like it was before with DX being the basic model LX being the middle and EX the luxury one, if people want to mix match features they can simple build there own car online or at a dealership
I bought the 2020 Civic Touring for my wife and I was disappointed that the top of the line civic didnt come with reverse sensing or even memory seat...WTH. Other than that it is a great car.
@@richl1319 Nah, the Kia Forte FE which is the basic model is better. Forte isn't a bad car. But if you want the highest trim of a car but not break the bank, the Kia Forte's top trim as of 2020 is $23,000 something.
What is up with the blank buttons on the left of the wheel and center console do these get filled with another package? The touring is the top trim that makes it look extremely cheap.
@@DriveOnReviews Oh that is very possible, I didn't even consider another market. Though I understand it cuts down on overall cost it makes one feel like the car is missing something it isn't. Thanks for the insight! Very good video!
The blanks to the left of the wheel are parking sensor and headlight wash, blanks next to the gear selector are for the start/stop system and adaptive dampers. These features possibly aren't available in the US, as there aren't any blanks on top trim European spec cars.
Honda lane watch worked for both sides before on the 2013 Honda accord but they took it off because people were getting confused where to look when they were turning left. I would recommend for you to gather information before you do a review🤣
Just baught a 2020 civic touring today in ontario canada . Mine has matching LEDs to the headlights . This is weird that this model only has incandescent bulbs
everything you learn in life for most people pretty much stealing idea from someone before you. Unless you become a master in your field and use your experience to create something new.
Definitely not a budget friendly car. Especially for a student. 12 year old beat up Civics and Corollas are the student car. And even they can be hard to obtain money wise.
27,000 is not a good price for a college student bruh e3e.

It’s a great car for all ages....
This is a pretty expensive car where i live. How can a student afford this?
Well your local dealership should discount this vehicle but every vehicle is different

That is a completely false statistic

That’s a valid point and I like your suggestion on what honda should fix in the near future

Mark Anthony it would also make they’re build process easier.
Just purchased a 2018 Civic Touring with 20K miles for $18K 😬. Only thing I'm really missing is the volume knob and paddle shifters #CollegeStudent
Congratulations college student on your purchase

What is memory seat? 🤔
Good show, love that color red. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much
P. S. I see all the palm trees, are you in Florida? I'm in San Antonio, Tx.
Yes i Live in Miami and you have a good eye btw
This is a great video. Thanks
Thank you Chan For letting me know
Did Honda fix oil dilution issue and poor cabin heat at winter?
27k car is for students on a budget?
stricken1666 no way, I would say a base civic is a car for students

I am thinking about buying one of these, I am coming from a 2016 Jetta 6 speed automatic, I am curious will I notice the CVT or is it smooth?
In my honest opinion I knew I was driving a CVT but Honda does a great CVT tear drive in see how you like it
I don’t know why I like the new Jetta more than this civic . Perhaps the rear end of civic is what throws me off the civic each time I see it around.
No body really likes the rear end of the civic and accord
What is up with the blank buttons on the left of the wheel and center console do these get filled with another package? The touring is the top trim that makes it look extremely cheap.
Maybe in a other market it might be something I’m not to sure but good question

I hsve a 2016 Civic Touring sedan and I agree about the blank button switches.
The blanks to the left of the wheel are parking sensor and headlight wash, blanks next to the gear selector are for the start/stop system and adaptive dampers. These features possibly aren't available in the US, as there aren't any blanks on top trim European spec cars.
was someone else driving the car? weird thing for me to notice i know, but if you look at the rear view mirror, there's a bald head in there.
That was one of the sales rep from the Honda dealership and good eye you have

I’m talking about the lane watch on this vehicle not the 2013 model but thanks for the information
I have a Rogue 2018 and I want a Civic but I don’t want myself or my passengers to be squeezed and also how is the visibility when driving it?
The civic is better then the Corolla cause you really don’t have rear space in the Corolla
And the visibility is good in the civic I just don’t care for the line watch camera
Are you able to trade in your Rogue ?
@@richl1319 I can't since it on a lease
Backtoshallabal I thought you we’re still able to. I’m financing my used 2012 civic but I believe I can trade it in
Beautiful car!!
yeah, probably for college professors not students. those things are expensive.
😂😂
It seems like you're talking to yourself instead of to the camera. Lol
Hazelstreet 16 lmao true the energy seemed off at first
Good car for anybody!
Of course it is
Needs LED foglights.
Yes I agree with you
Just switch them out silly
Just baught a 2020 civic touring today in ontario canada . Mine has matching LEDs to the headlights . This is weird that this model only has incandescent bulbs
Yes it’s very weird but hey Honda should change that in the next generation
cparent2012 how much did you pay?
this red is pretty!
Yes it looks good with the chrome accents
Does this car have Apple play?
Yes it does
whats the exterior color of this car ?? red??
Civic LX*
Also 1998***
How much would it cost me to lease this?
Honestly I’m not sure but it depends on how much money you’re putting down in your credit

Did you just steal Redline Reviews tagline, "The question I want answered.......that's what we're here to find out"?
No I did not and I posted my Honda review before redline and every car enthusiast says the same thing so I wouldn’t say I stole it

Reviews never test the audio system this sucks
It's looks the same
Honda is going to be updating the civic soon hopefully
Richard Williams
It’s a refresh,not a redesign 🚗
almost 30 grand is a budget car? xD What student has that much money...
Trust me some people have it
Student with sugar daddy lol
Hey buddy
Hey wassup
Talking way to fast and soft, my dear. But good video.
You talk real fast. Slow down and enunciate
Mumbles!! Watch your own video and learn speak clearly.
What the heck are you saying? Lol it’s hard to understand you. I’m just catching a few words lol
