Those headlights in my opinion are 10/10. However MHTSA rated them as poor because it caused so much glare for drivers on the opposite lane, even in low beam. But for the driver, they provide excellent illumination. Aside from the glare for oncoming drivers, one of the best headlights I’ve ever used.
Another great review. Our roads here in the Phoenix area are really starting to fall apart and all this rain is not helping. Looks like another lousy winter here.
Isn't this 1.5L engine the one with all of the cold weather oil dilution problems? I seem to recall (no pun intended) that they're facing a class action lawsuit over them. Better stick with the base model!
Its too bad the 2020 Honda CR-V only comes with that engine for now on. I'm not sure if the 0W-16 oil is gonna solve the problem. Its gotta be something internal, not software
@@kclefthanded427 The problem is that apparently on short trips in cold weather unburned gasoline vapors are making their way into the oil. A hot engine will burn off those vapors but a cold engine will not, and with automakers intentionally making the piston fit a little loose to decrease friction/increase fuel economy, you get oil and gas mixing together. I'm sure the enormous fuel pressure of gasoline direct-injection doesn't help this issue either. A software fix isn't going to correct an inherent design problem like this, just like software fixes couldn't fix the dreadful design problems in Ford's PowerShift automatic transmissions.
It is. I live in the coldest place in North America called Saskatchewan and had a 2017 Touring and the recall fixed the issue. The engine gets warmer sooner in deep cold. I actually never saw the oil dilution issue in the two winters I used the car. It’s a fine machine. You’ll get 34 mpg city and 42 mpg highway
@@chadhaire1711 Let me clarify.......Arizona's arid climate is not conducive to vegetation and plant life that is not easily adaptable to the desert conditions throughout that particular geographical region of the U.S. That would account for the large number of rock gardens (and astronomically expensive sprinkler and hydration systems for those foolishly insistent upon residential greenery) throughout the Southwest. In other words, if you ain't planting cacti....fuhgetaboutit.
The 603 horsepower Mercedes AMG I am driving only gets 17 mpg....but far more fun. I say lets suck up all the gas while it is cheap at $1.89. (Unless you live in Commiefornia where it is still $4....LOL..

Fuck oncoming drivers!
Test drove one of these yesterday - sweet ride, hope to purchase it on Friday. Killer financing and money off MSRP on remaining 2020 Hondas.
see my video on the Civic Type R..only $39,000

Nice car and great gas mileage. I hope Honda adds real blind spot warning and cross path detection once this is redesigned.
They need a tuning knob too. I think it's a heresy that the car manufacturers these days skipping out on the tuning knob.
Hi Chad, Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for sharing the vids, I enjoyed watching them throughout the year.
Find me 1 million more viewers for Christmas...i need gas money

This guy has the classic "you kids better quit playing in my front yard" type of voice.
It is "get off my lawn"
@@chadhaire1711
I've been to Arizona and there aren't many actual naturally occurring grassy lawns there, hence the "front yard" reference.

Tarzan is also a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, who is long ago deceased.

Corolla hatch is built in Mexico, quality and reliability TBD as it is a new design and build. Already has problems with the e-CVT.
Nice straightforward review.
