Yeayy!! Have you ever tried the underpaint/ under contouring (?) technique? I'm not sure if that's what it's called. You kind of do contouring first and then everything else??? I'd love to see your choice of products for that
I LOVEEEEE my nyx serum concealer !!! It’s the absolute best I’ve tried from drugstore by far in a long time. It’s easy to work with, natural finish, and buildable. I also like to use it as a foundation, it really is a diamond in the rough when there are so many choices… this is one that would work with all skin types IMO!
I recommend Revlon Skin Illuminance Foundation if you haven't tried it!

I just recently revisited the NYX Bare With Me Serum Concealer & had forgotten how great it is! I had hoped that their Bare With Me foundation would be a similar formulation, but gosh... not even close!

I have a few recommendations for drugstore foundations, There’s the L’Oréal age perfect serum foundation and it has spf 50 is sooo good. I absolutely love it, it’s satin/ glowy and has decent medium coverage. Also the new maybelline super stay 24hr wear skin ‘tint’ + vitamin c dropper foundation thingy it’s a bit less dewy than the first option.
I'll try the L'oreal one! I've tried that maybelline one and it wasn't a good match for me. My skin hates vitamin C so i broke out 🙃🥲
I love the L’Oréal age perfect Tried it on Nikki la Rose recommendation, I and I also love the true match super bendable also the drugstore has come a long way ! More mover to try new

I love Loreal true match original foundation from the drugstore. I always reach for it more than my prestige higher end foundations.
Even though I now wear tinted moisturizer or skin tints, I loved that foundation when I was in high school.

the Nyx Bear With Me concealer totally settled under my eyes and empathizes all sorts of lines I didn’t even know I had. I still like it as foundation though, quite a bit. My fav concealer for under eye is the Maybelline Age Rewind, although I just got a Catrice one I can’t wait to try out more :) and the Physicians Formula one is in my Amazon cart (funny they don’t have it at Ulta?!) some day I’ll order it

Your "wings" were gorgeous. That fact that you use 3 different shades (light brown, medium brown and then black) seems like it would be unnecessary, but the gradient it creates really makes a difference!

No there aren’t they may appear “straight” but there are no straight lines in nature

My favourite drugstore foundation is the Annabelle Perfect Fit foundation. The only downside is the shade range is absolute trash, I have to use a white mixer with the lightest shade.
I have bought so many of these recommendations because of you 💜💜 most recently loving the nyx concealer, and the elf powder and lip oils! Have you tried the shade honey talks? It’s beautiful!
Ps. Not a foundation but - have you tried the wet n wild tinted hydrator? I have oily skin as well and lasts beautifully alllll day 💜 (best applied with fingers in my opinion , which I know you don’t love but it’s really really really nice). I have repurchased it and even got my boyfriend to love it haha it’s super natural but buildable if you like.

She's actually the one who got me to try that tinted hydrator and I really love it. I think she ended up liking it but it wasn't a favorite of hers although I thought it looked flawless on her.
