Gotta love those hidden objects in plants! This is a good example of why it's always harder to get out moving forward, than it is to reverse in.
Well done, all hidden considered! 👍🏼👍🏼 At least you didn't damage the mudguards or tear a tyre!

Just reading your comment reminded me of a job years ago in Derby just off the city centre, where due to sign posts and other stuff I had to reverse in and when tipped, usually several hours later reverse out into city centre traffic. I'd been doing this for a couple of days when this young woman walked in, came over and asked how I'd got in. When I said up the ramp where you've just walked she couldn't believe it as she had left her Mercedes outside convinced it was too narrow for her! 😂🤣🤣

@@cloudmaker 🤣🤣 That's gold! I'm never surprised when I see those that have no spatial awareness.
Speaking of odd car parks, I unloaded all my tools & hardware for a job on top of a unit block, only to find, when I was leaving, I had "grown" a few centimetres.
Had to dump all the air from my rear air bags, dropped the tyres to 10psi & had gained what clearance I'd lost when I entered!
      What a time consumer! 🤣🤣

@@KevinD_33x150 Ha ha. Similarly mate Lawrence, long gone now RIP, had a Volvo FL6, after driving uphill under a bridge at Sheffield rugby club found that empty he could not get out downhill. Had to take off the top of the air cleaner stack to do it and put it back on the other side. 👍🤣🤣

@@cloudmaker That's a bit rough! Fancy fitting under a bridge... after removing bits of your truck! Here I was thinking of what I had to do... all that air... My lungs have never been the same! 🤣🤣
      Being a non-smoker has paid off! 👍🏼

That's a bugger! At least it's not a serious bend. About twelve years ago, I had a 32' cabin delivered to the yard. That driver did such a fantastic job of getting up to the landing site for the cabin and dropped it off, inch perfect, but what a chewing about job it was to get back out again. In the end, he shoved back into a stack of tractor tyres, got one hooked on one end of his rear crash bar, then as he pulled away, sort of pulled the bar up and backwards.
We decided to sort it out with a gentle shove back the other way from my loader tractor.
It was clear that it has been bent before, and had suffered a few pigeon 5h1t welds to fix it. The driver only had about three miles back to his yard, so he left with a cheery wave and said "I'll have to get Charlie to dig a bit deeper with his grinder this time".
It's a strange thing, but no matter how hard you try, they never come out the same way as they go in.
Just tell the boss that some plonker in a BMW cut you up on a roundabout - at least that would sound more plausible than "customer's hedge did it!"....

But I can not tell a lie, is a quote I want to use but with so many fake videos on my channel it would not sit well! I rang him to tell him the bad news of course and told him I'd make a video out of it, even if my camera was playing up as some footage had disappeared. I see you use the Pigeon poo analogy we use the dog poo one. 😉😁😂 All the best.

Shit happens, mate. To be fair, I think you did a pretty decent job to get in and out with so little damage.

A bit disappointed to cause damage to someone else's wagon though, wouldn't have been so bad if it was my own. Thank you for commenting.

    “Tis but a bend”
At least it was nowt serious mate, or the customers brick pillars.
I think it damages pride more than anything, I’ve not put a single mark on my van since starting for KA in April ‘21. When they had an agency driver in when I was off ❤️⚡️⚡️ he smashed the nearside front of the Luton box, I was bloody livid when I saw it but more so I was a bit embarrassed driving it because to me it looked like I didn’t care about my van, it’s since been fixed.
Customers would notice it and say “Ooooo what’ve you hit”
I was quick to correct them 😂

That's the trouble with having different drivers on vehicles, especially when that vehicle normally has one driver. On a similar vein that brand new truck video I uploaded a bit back, well I've just been informed I'm on that next week. So wish me luck! My first 23 reg drive, I'd better not bend that one! All the best Dan.

I would let Rex drive but he can't reach the pedals! Just been told will be driving that brand new truck next week, the one from the video a couple of months back, I did ask him if he was sure as I seem to be able to break them quite easily! I can only imagine he was really desperate! 😂🤣🤣 All the best to you too Ian.

@@ianjones4116 I don't mind the MOT time as it's a time to catch up with local gossip as they hear everything there! Good luck with yours. When the Volvo F10 came out I had that poster on my wall along with the ERF Olympic. Speaking of trashing Volvo fronts, I smashed the front off one in Ashbourne town centre an F88! Well he was signalling left and I thought I 'd give him a bit more room so pulled out to the left then back to the right. Unfortunately he had forgotten his turn signal was on and he was not looking ahead, but instead was trying to catch the attention of a young lady on the pavement. Well what happened next got her attention! My toolbox came up from passenger footwell and broke the middle of the dash and passers by helped my out between his cab and trailer over the catwalk! Whilst trying to clear the road he could drive it forward but the steering was broken off along with the foot pedals, it was so rusty. We were kicking the front tyres to steer it but he then couldn't stop it so ran over some road signs! When the Police arrived they found he had no tax and he had already been driving for nearly 12 hours! Well nobody checked tachograph cards back then. I saw the same guy again a few months later, another F88 he had taken the side out of a waiting Reliant Scimitar at a junction at Cubley on the A515, as he couldn't stop!
