This stage cost 270k usd to produce so them going all out is an understatement. Just know MAMA award staff (the next biggest award show coming) said that their MAMA stage will be even more bigger/better. How do you top a performance like this? I think they'll bring Nicki or perform DDAENG. Jimin currently has a tattoo (temporary/real is still up for debate) on his upper ribcage that says NEVERMIND and has been seen multiple times in photos/fancams recently. They didn't show it at MMA so everyone think it will appear for MAMA. Be prepared!
also something to mention is the members dyed their hairs to colors from previous eras (jimin's silver hair from Blood Sweat & Tears) (Taehyung red hair from Save Me & Fire) (Namjoon with purple hair from Not Today & Spring Day) etc.
It reminds me when Jimin had the fake tattoo at MAMAs a couple of years ago to preview their next comeback. They’ve been giving a lot of hints lately from his tattoo, to their dyed hair...I feel something coming.

I did watched it on live. OMG! Yes, there performance is by far the best in history! Their stage presence is insane. By the way, I think their intro, their clothes, and their hair color from each era has hidden messages are giving a hint that there will be next album. I’m looking forward to more in 2019!

Welcome to award season RT gang! It is wild. Nothing like waking up at 3 am to stream it live and freak out on ARMY Twitter. LOL Rob is a whole mood. BTS is the best band in the whole world and Namjoon (RM) is my bias too. I love that you guys genuinely appreciate their artistry and music. You still need a BTS poster on your wall though. :) You really need to react to some of their other award show performances, like MAMA 2015, 2016, 2017 and MMA 2017. BTS is another level when it comes to live performances, they go all out. The budget for this performance was close to $300k. Just wait until MAMA in 2 weeks--that performance is rumored to top this one. It's hard to imagine but with BTS you never know what to expect, except for greatness.
BTS performances raise the bar high now of how an artist SHOULD perform on any stages! guesting or in their own concert, they always give their highest best for their fans as a sign of gratitude of supporting them every step & cents of the way. Lots of performers when they became famous it doesn't matter how they perform sometimes. . . people still watch or listen to them anyway

They're giving back their large revenue to give us such an amazing performance I guess... Good investment tho.. Because there will be a lot of people amazed, even if they are not a fan before. Not loving this performance is just impossible..
I think it was more than that. Only their outfits for the performances and red carpet cost around 50k USD maybe even more than that because I think they had some haute-couture too. All the special effects, dancers and live musicians can't cost only 270k. Probably this was the price for (G)-IDLE stage who was the second most complicated after BTS.

Just to let you know that was for MMA the MAMA is coming up as well and there should be something just as spectacular for that. The reasoning is they are the two biggest award shows and each year BTS performs and puts on a spectacular production. If you get the chance and can find the FULL version of last years then it follows the blood sweat & tears concept if you have seen all that....then they jumped on a plane for the next day to get to MMA to perform another set of 4 songs.

BTS are real artists and always gave us their best in term of music videos, stage performances, concerts, variety shows, etc. During their debut days, they had no budgets and Bighit almost went bankrupt twice but they still continued to create amazing Music Videos and performances with whatever resources they could afford. Their music gave us happiness, positive vibes, love, encouragements and has healing power. We love BTS and will support them always!💜💜💜
5 years ago they filled 6,000 capacity arena. In Los Angeles. This year they have booked stadiums as big as 90,000 seat capacity!!!! These boys have come a long way, it hasn’t been easy, but they made it through hard work. I’m proud of them.
No matter how many times BTS will go overseas they will never forget where they started and their culture and they will never try to be something they’re not they will always be true to themselves and that’s why I love them
Just so you know, the music for Idol was all played LIVE by traditional Korean instruments. It was absolutely insane and has gone down in history for one of the best performances to date.

No lie this entire award show had some of the best performances I've ever seen in kpop. BTS definitely had the most epic one of the night but everyone else brought their A game as well. If you have the time do watch Mamamoo, Ikon and G-Idle. BlackPink did well too even if their stage wasn't as fancy.
