  • White Flower Day was first celebrated in Sweden, in 1908. In Russia, this holiday was held by the All-Russian League for Combating Consumption, which was created by decree of Tsar Nicholas II. The imperial family also took part in the celebration of this day and fundraising. Every time the emperor’s family came to Livadia, large charity bazaars were held in Yalta, under the August patronage of Empress Alexandra, and with her personal participation. For the charity bazaar, empress Alexandra and her daughters, in addition to flowers, prepared with their own hands various crafts, miniatures, embroidery, and photographs of the royal family.

Its nice to have this light hearted moment in their lives to see. We seem to remember their lives as just tragedy and hopelessness. But there was more to them than that. I did not know what white flower day represented or its history, thanks for this posting.

Yesterday I was received into the Orthodox church and it's largely because of Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia. I experienced miracles through their intercessions and my spiritual father approved my taking the name OTMA at my baptism.

How heartbreaking and edifying to see this incredible footage of the blessed Romanov children in their joyful innocence. May the holy, martyred royal family of Russia pray to God for us! 🙏☦️

What a blessing to have photos and video of our modern Saints, glorified by the Church and God. Glory be to the Triune God! There is some video as well of St John of Shanghai, Met. Philaret of New York, Elder Gabriel of Georgia (all of which venerated the Royal Romanov Martyrs), Elder Cleopa, Elder Thaddeus. These resotrations of photos and video of the Romanov Royal Martyrs are wonderful, thank you.

🌼🌎🌼I always wondered about the historical origin of why the beauti’lovely daisy was popular during the turbulent 1960’s....called the “Flower✌🏾&💝 Power” movement.
🌎🌼🌎Hello-Hello...we can now purchase the Romanov Royal Legacy book in English text???
🌼🌎🌼If so, how much does this awesome literature cost...is it the same basic price???

No other royal family would go this far into promoting a charity event to the general public, If only that were the case today......BTW searched up White Flower Day and it seems like the day has been forgotten about, including native Sweden.

Is White Flower Day still celebrated in Russia today? I checked on Google, yet there was no mention of it, only dates for public holidays. It's so nice to see in many videos just how accessible this family made themselves to all of the citizens and didn't stay hidden behind high walls. I admire them for doing this.💖🕊

@@EO-John9540 Aren't you the rude, disrespectful prick! You clearly can't understand English at all as it only states that it began to be celebrated again in the mid-nineties. It does not mention whether it is still celebrated today. Go and troll elsewhere!!!

В России не празднуется этот праздник. Тему последнего императора власти РФ обходят стороной, не принимают его, и 70% населения не любят царя тоже.

every time when I think about this atrocity that happened with romanov family I recall the time machine book which was written by Herbert Wells, where we have eloi and murlocks . Eloi are so intelegent so erudite so humble and little naive and stupid , morlocks are strong big and have very good ingeniring intellect and they live under ground and hunt at darkness on eloi and eat them. Morloccks evolved from workers, eloi from nobel elits. The main idea in this book is that this inequality insociety created these 2 types of humans. Murloks' ancestors worked hard to sustain the good quality of life for nobles, that's why they lost their humanity. This book was written in 1895 and it foreshadowed what happened in russian empire. From all of this great courts splendid suits manners and just luxury life of the romanov family beyond all of that stayed a poor miserable folk and peasants who suffered enough in their lives due to nikolas 2 ambitions. The truth here that romanov family grown their executors

I wouldn't call them martyrs. One of their ancestors hung a six year old boy, heir to the throne, so they could ursurp.
Further, they and their industrialist relatives and friends mistreated the Ethnic Russian peasants worse than even the other royals and misgovernments in most of Europe. Not that things improved with the wanton cruelty and torture by the invading Bolsheviks mostly from other countries, not being Christian and therefore detesting the ethnic Christian orthodox Russian people, regardless of whether or not they were peasants.
The average person who has had the misfortune to have been born in Russia at any time throughout history seems to have had things worse than most people in a lot of other rich countries. Or rather, countries with a few rich people at the top and at least 95% of the population ranging from poor to poverty stricken. The Romanovs were among the many other dictatorial tyrants to misrule there over time reportedly even to today.
