These videos are the new Rufford Ford!
The thing I noticed when stood on the bank, that you dont really see from a boat is how very strong the current is when it is passing through the constricted channel under the bridge, It's not surprising it catches folk out. I then adjourned to the Dog Inn for a couple of pints 👍🏻
Great video to watch on a hot Sunday afternoon. Thank you from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Wow! Thanks for watching!

Hello, lovely start to the day.... :)
wow , what a busy day , i honestly did'nt think that big boat would get through near the end of the vid , but it looked like there were quite a few close calls , i liked the look of that wooden sailboat that went through , very nice & unusual .
Mi by TV n
Fair play to the guy on the Sunway we hired Skyway 2 years ago , great boat but i didn't even try ludum bridge with it
Who cares?
Been Broads holidaying for years, but it’s only a matter of time before someone is injured by navigating from the top helm of a dual helm boat, never done that at Ludham to be honest.
Grow up.
I love food. I call it my BLOATING SEASON
🤣🤣 that’s a good one!
At least that far inland you are not affected by the strong winds we have on the south coast.
We’ve had strong winds. This was filmed just before that. Thanks for watching.
Keep them coming Jonny hope to see you end of August 👀
@GordyP041 thanks! Hope to see you then!
Doesn’t the sign say Sound Horn!, the amount of boats that didn’t do that was very surprising.
Yes it certainly does say - sound horn, a lot of times they sound their horn before I’ve hit record.
Johnny hi again never miss a vid, Briiliant!!!!!! Seen before couple of guys opposite to you Fishing, do they catch anything ??????? Broads used to be a hotspot turning up all sorts of huge fish......is that still the case Cheers Pal keep em coming regards from Sheffield IAN
Hey Ian! Thanks for your comment and lovely to hear from you. Lots of fish come out of the water at the bridge, I’m not a fisherman personally but I hear breem, perch and rudd are the common fish caught there. I’m glad you enjoy my vids. I appreciate it ☺️
the first boat he has a close shave 😁 the other boat was a tight fit , ,oops tv aerial got knocked over, and we had some dancing boats lol
Ice Cream???? Your are supposed to be busy filming not having ice cream! 😂 I hope Millie had some too. Lovely to see the wooden boat go past. Have a great week.
Well in such a fast pace, never ending environment! One has to have a little treat to make the day more manageable! 😆😆 Millie had a few treats as well and lots of affection from passers-by so she was happy! ☺️☺️
Ice cream? That’s terrible! You are not there to enjoy yourself! Err….what type of I ice cream was it? What really annoys me is that I was not there to enjoy one with you! All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Do you have any footage of Bahamastar?? Great videos..I miss the Broads.
Sadly that’s not a boat I’m familiar with, what’s her make?
@@jonnytreehouse RLM 32ft Sedan. Twin engined. Distinctive port holes in the bow.
Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for her.
Can't beat Ludham bridge on a busy day!
Nope! Thanks for watching
Why do people make boat handling look so hard
Floating camping cars.
great place for a spot of fishing, NOT! : )
Is it me, or do some of those engines sound rough?.
