Here's what scary. Kobe used that exact move at :53 this vs the Heat. Guys like Kobe and Jordan really already had many of their moves at a young age and just continued to refine them. Jordan had a fadeaway during his early years, he just rarely used it. That doesn't bode well for LeBron.
Lebron is a small forward, not a lights out shooting guard. Lebron is so. Good you put insane standards on him, and u don’t even know it cuz ur just in denial that lebron is still better than Kobe + Michael combined
@@monzoeasley8500 That team was VERY weak defensively at the guard position and at the wings... Francis, Mobley (before he became solid around the Yao/Van Gundy era), Moochie, Walt Williams, etc. Even a lot of their bigs were defensively challenged like Mo Taylor, Bullard, Collier, Langhi, etc. That team won 45 games because of offense (Mobley even won the starting job late into the season because of his scoring and chemistry with Francis) and dominating a weak Eastern Conference (they even blew out the Sixers in Philly that year). Shandon Anderson (a solid defender but never in the contention for DPOY or anything) was guarding Kobe much of this game and it took a whole team to guard Kobe at this point, which is why Kobe went off in this game, as he was feeling it and the team defense wasn't strong enough to contain him (when they got Yao is when this team got good defensively). Against the best teams in the west that year, the Rockets struggled vs. ALL of them, and they lost three out of four to the Clippers of all teams, which is why they missed the playoffs by two games to KG's Wolves (if they won that season series against the Clippers, they would have been in the playoffs that year). This was a borderline playoff team with Francis, but was terrible the next year when he missed many games, though it led to them getting Yao.
Forget a body, put some handcuffs on that man. (not on this vid but earlier in that game I remember that) Uh oh watch the dunk! I saw it coming. NO He's gonna need help, He's gonna need help, He's gonna need help He's gonna need HELP! Boy, he's cold-blooded Bill. The commentary.
Kobe was a MONSTER in 2000-01 season
Mann this guy went 20-26 from the floor... One of the greatest shooting performances ever...
Shaq wouldve never won without Kobe. Look at his number...Kobe was just as important.
That last dunk was savage! Especially the way he looked at the Houston crowd afterward.
Kobe is a beast!!!! Young Kobe over young lebron anyday
This performance should have a lot more recognition. This damn near a hidden gem.
