My first commander deck was mono-green and it's probably my favorite deck too. It has seen its fair share of upgrades since I started and has changed as much as I have as I've learned to play magic. It's funny to look back on its humble "stompy" beginnings that in truth wasn't much of a threat and then compare it to its current iteration where my playgroup knows when I pull it out I mean business. Funnily enough, I built that deck almost at the exact same time I started watching your channel and your videos have been an amazing influence on how I both play magic and build my decks.
One of the most underplayed green cards has to be Mirri's Guile, such a good card and it use to ba good budget alternative to sylvan library. Needs a reprint though.

Green was the reason I got my wife into playing magic. She now likes to try out a few of the other commander decks I own but, will always be a fan of green (especially for a win). Thank you for always being a channel I can learn from and get others into magic the gathering.
I didn't understand how good it was at first. Now I love Crop Rotating out a Bojuka Bog to exile my opponent's graveyard as they cast Kathril, Aspect Warper.
What helped me with me green decks was some protection for my creatures, particularly Heroic Intervention as it protects with with hexproof and indestructible on instant speed. Creatures in green are both your biggest strength but also biggest weakness.

Two of my favorite enchantments in green deal with fliers, one prevents fliers from attacking you, while the other prevents fliers from blocking you. Sandwurm Convergence and Bower Passage really helped my Selesnya Cat Tribal deck keep up, to some degree, with my playgroup's multiple dragon decks. I highly recommend them and they're both budget friendly.
White: "alright this is getting out of hand, I'll play a board wipe!" Red: "awesome, now I'll play burn spells" Blue: "counterspell" Black: "return my permanents from the graveyard" Blue: "counterspell" Green: "I play more ramp, draw 4 cards, and five creatures!" Blue: "dang outta counterspells...."
Honestly my favorite way to power up a green deck is with adding big mana doublers and card doublers like karametra's blessing and howling mine because you can often get so much more value out of the added mana and card draw with a green deck than any of your opponents decks. (Unless they are centered around mana and card draw, but not a lot of decks are)
As a newer commander player (mostly since quarantine) I found this video rather helpful. You opened my eyes to a bunch of powerful cards I never knew about. Thank you!
When people say “blue player” or “green player” I always wonder did they mean any player who uses those colours in their deck, or just people who run MONO versions of those decks. Because since a lot of commanders are multicoloured, couldn’t you be a “blue player” and “green player” at the same time ?

Watching the professor just about always cheers me up. And the thing I like most about green is all the mana. There's always SO MUCH OF IT!

Regarding reach and green: I just find it very funny that Nylea is a gargantuan goddess with A huge bow that can't shoot down flying creatures.
