Just got the DLC yesterday on a whim. It’s a total beast, and one of the few American trucks I’ve found that can stand up to Russian mud. It also makes a damn good looking tow truck when you got a flatbed and a loading crane, then paint her yellow to match the crane.
I was expecting to be very disappointed with the quad steer only because i know how OP it CAN be, so glad it has some balanced features in it cause it’s the only twin steer mod I’ll use. 🤘🏼

One of the things that should be part of any truck review is if it can use a flatbed/sideboard, loading crane, and still tow a trailer. The is particularly important in the new region since bridge repairs are 6 cargo and the tunnel to the cosmodrome is 12 cargo. Using a 5 slot semi trailer is a bother, but 2 on the truck plus 4 on the ramped flatbed trailer works well. As for most effective trucks in the new region, It was the Paystar 5600 or Azov Antarctic for the deep snow and heavy pulling, but now it's the Zikz 605. (that thing's a beast) Also, that road by the garage is a bad path to the ice. Just blow through the garage yard fence near where your truck spawns and it's a lot easier. (Between the metal shed and the scrap car) By the way, the proper path to the warehouse it to hug the rocks on the left. There's a path wide enough for any truck on solid ice over there. (the weak ice is only in the center of that area.
the sequence starting around 10:45 perfectly illustrates how explaining what makes snowrunner fun and exciting to someone else makes you sound like you've completely succumbed to the brainworms.
I got this truck because I used to drive one :P my first driving job (in 1992!) was with a metal fabricating company, I drove a 1975 GMC Brigadier tractor pulling a 40' flatbed that was built in 1970. Never did any off-road driving with it, but it had a 6V-92 Detroit and I can confirm the sound is pretty accurate! As far as it's rating in the game I'd say it makes a good straight truck, had a little trouble pulling trailers as it kept lifting the front axle off the ground which made it difficult to keep it lined up with the road
Just upgraded from a Xbox to a series X and can not wait to play this... I had snowrunner on the old gen Xbox and it was slow and I played snowrunner once and it was so much better
I personally modded my f750 to make slightly OP scout. Superb fuel economy, carry’s 10000 repair points, 900 gallons of fuel. It runs on the tuz 420 tires, slightly higher lift. Also improved the power to make it tow trailers better without stalling out and defaulting back to 1st gear. Only thing it struggles at is flipping larger trucks back upright. Also if you are considering to buy the game, the steam edition runs a lot smoother and if you know how to, you can transfer your save files from one platform to another without any issues, just need notepad (application) to open the save files
Ever since I modded my game on the PTS to get early access of this truck, I absolutely love it. It's my new favorite truck. I know I say that every time a new phase drops, but I absolutely love it. The engine sound is pretty epic and I absolutely love these classic American trucks. I'll definitely use this as my new go to semi hauler. One thing I absolutely hate about this thing is the horn. I really dislike it, I expected a classic old truck horn. That really puts me off because I like to honk every once in a while. I think it's better than the Western Star 49x because it has a tuned custom suspension. Overall a nice truck. #earlysquad
I used the Azov 73210 and used it to rescue the zikz 605r and I used the zikz 605r well two of them to haul 16 units of cargo all the way to fix the garage in Chernokamensk.
Been using Rngr's Crew Cab aka Zentros on Xbox. This truck is an absolute beast in all conditions when its set up right. Has no troubles towing loads and it has an offline winch. So far Urska River has been challenging but I got all the bridges repaired and all the landslides done including A Heap of Work to get access to the next map. Also found a super easy way to get the new 8x8 Zikz
Yes it's worth it. I buy all the trucks that they offer. Also bought year 2 pass! Got it all with Microsoft Rewards so I didn't spend a dime.😂. Thanks TC!

I love Snowrunner..I'm addicted. I enjoy you're videos. I love how enthusiastic you are with these trucks. I can't wait to play after work now. And I've been using the Western Star & ANK MK as well. They're both American beasts.
TUZ 420 Taratin, Zikz 5368, CAT 770G(ONLY FOR FUEL ADDON), Pacific P16, GMC Brigader 8000, & Finally, Western Twinsteer 6900 (W AWD AND RAISED SUSPENSION)... think that's it, all I can remember off the top of my head...
That's definitely a Detroit 6L71 and any 2 stroke diesel like this one is music to my ears. I tend to use the highrange most of the time just to throw it into high gear after switching to second gear and sometimes its a blast both on and offroad.
This was a great video TC!!! I was sitting there on my phone watching you slide sideways into the ice like, “It’s gonna tip it’s gonna tip!!!!”. Other people driving by like, “Bruh! What are you watching!” This was cool. The next time you do a stream on this map I’m so done to grab some popcorn to watch.
I don't have phase 4 yet but my favorite truck is the ank mk38. It's the first truck I grind to get on all of my playthroughs. I just love everything about it. My only problem and probably most would agree that it's a little top heavy if you arent on level ground or if you're going too fast it'll flip way too easily but honestly to me most truck similar to the ank will flip. But the ank is my favorite
That truck is totally worth it and besides if your a fan of snowrunner and you love the game then support it and buy the truck!! I love it! It does what I need it to do and that's All I care about!
I have been attached to Limes L400 with IR’s trailer pack. That truck can get through anything even with the stock engine. Such a beast. As far as dlc trucks I am going after the Zikz 605r for the heavy jobs
I can’t wait until I get home and play this with my friends on Xbox amazing truck by the way tried it for my self on pts and it worked perfectly for what I wanted it to do mostly logs on Wisconsin region but still it worked now I can use it on Xbox perfect
We have trucks that sound good at idle but most if not all the trucks need low-mid range exhaust improvements ☺ Can't wait to upgrade my fleet, I'm sure I'll hang w/most of my favs 😆 Thank you TC for the great video and like always excellent info ✌😎

I thought this looked a lot like one of the trucks I got early into the game & never paid any attention to it as a dlc. Thought maybe it was slightly different, but this truck is dope! I just bought the Defender 90 & 110 today, so next week or whenever I get paid this will be the next little treat for myself! (Unless yall recommend a different vehicle? I currently have season 1 & 2 passes, the jeep dlc, defenders dlc, & the Navistar. I'm missing the Crocodile, the Chevy Apache & the new one they added, its some sort of modern semi... so any input is appreciated!
Any more news on the Year 2 Pass? I saw on the forum that Year 2 includes Season 5-8. That is a lot of new content and I'm really excited for everything.
I haven't even started the phase 4 yet I will be doing that later tonight around 6:00 Eastern Time I might be streaming it too I will have to see seems like a good map right now for all four
Good luck with it bro! Fair warning though, be really careful with the snow. Some of it is actually just ice with a layer of snow on top and it'll completely swallow your entire truck!
The truck looks damn cool, but I dont really understand, why the publishers include another and another (US) heavy duty in, basically all of them can to the same things: 2x CAT, Freightliner, Codiac, GMX, Fleet, White, 49x... I would really love to have a kind of special truck for US, like the 5 axle paystar was. so how about something like the Oshkosh M1074A1

The ix record pickup with the 60 something inch monsters tires and sometimes the duel op tractor tires. I did use the little tracker some to.

Been using a mod the DCB US K900 a really great balanced truck and fun to drive even use it to scout sometimes
The most useful trick that I have in Phase 4 is Kolob 74760
Zik 605 R I love this truck I have had the most success with this truck.
My most successful vehicle is probably the 5 axle truck from the last update with the extended sideboard bed
