I was apprehensive to hear this because of the powerful impact of the original and the beautiful haunting vocals of O’riordan. But… this group really did well. Great vocals, powerful instrumental, and I liked how they kept the speed slow and aggressive like the original which drives home the intention of the song. Plus I love the homage to the original video and O’riordan’s golden girl. Thanks for this react! 👍
An awesome cover and a proper tribute to Dolores. If you reread the first words, On Jan 18, 2018 Dolores was scheduled to record this with Bad Wolves. Sadly, she passed away on that day. They later did the video with a representative spirit. Watch the original version and it makes perfect sense.

They did a great job it still holds the angst of the original. Imagine if she could have sung it with him. They did an acoustic version as well. As if she's telling him she is passing the mantel over to him to spread the message of the song. He did change a few lyrics. "With their tanks and their bombs and their bombs and their drones." "It's the same old thing in 2018." The most recent conflict in that part of Europe shows how relevant this song sadly still is.
I couldn’t begin to recite the lyrics to this song, even after as many times as I’ve heard it, but the word “drones” did stick out as a clear change. Appropriate change.
I love it, this is one of my all time favorite covers by anyone, the respect to Dolores is beautiful. I am a big Tommy Vext fan because of this song. His passion is as beautiful as hers was. As you can hear, Tommy is a vocal powerhouse. When he left Bad Wolves, they became the Sad Wolves😢
