unbelievable if you would not recoment it that it is taken by an iphone i would never believe it. its almost a professional footage i cant stop be amazed.....wow
I like it all,I myself has iPhone we and planning to buy moondog lens any DJI gimbal ,with filmic pro editing Soft ware...pls make tons of video using this setup... I'm sure lot of people are going minimalist but still manage to capture nice video ....for me it's pure genius.....
Hey Scott great video. I have just purchased the feiyu gimbal and planning to buy the lens but my only worry is I have iPhone 6s Plus. Will gimbal be able to hold the weight.
Great vid! Please tell me: how did you manage to avoid image noise in low light? i just shot indoors with artificial light and even with a lot of light i saw noise on my iphone SE
Yes, I'm also very curious how you got your iphone level with the moondog lens on it. Everything on my Feiyu 3-axis gimbal is tilted to the left with that lens.
Bravo! Great footage. Question: the adapter says its designed for certain models and I can't see the iPhone SE listed. Did you get the iPhone 6 adapter? Great work!
Not at all but what I didn't realize is that the gimbal is self leveling. So you have to make sure you do the calibration test before each use which is to place the gimbal on a flat surface while your phone is attached and power it on. Then you can pick it up and use it. There is a certain way you have to place it on the flat surface but I'll have to make a quick video for that.
I have 1 more question. How did you import footage to editing software without losing quality? I cannot import file from filmic pro to Adobe Premiere CC. Could you help me figure it out?
Qui Truong I exported footage within the app to the camera roll on the iPhone itself. Then I simply exported the videos using adobe bridge. Then I used Sony Vegas for all editing.
I just got a Moondog lens and love it! I wanted to ask you if you did any color grading or were these clips right out of Filmic Pro? You did a really lovely job on this piece. I love the feeling and soundtrack. Again, really nice work!
Wow, your gears combo is what I planned to have too! Just that the Feiyu gimbal, mine is G4 Pro, and it's coming its way to my home! So for now I have iPhone SE Silver 64GB, Feiyu G4 Pro, only left the Moondoglabs 1.33x adapter lens! Still save to buy one! Check out my RUclips channel too!
so far the best most impressionisme video on youtube i have seen, and I have seen alot, alot. Superb work.

They have newer versions which should be able to accomodate newer heavier phones. Calibrate with lens on.

I used Filmic Pro which has better dynamic range
Beautiful! Grateful - I DID make the right decision in buying the iPhone SE for low-budget video (it's now $160 from Consumer Cellular).

Christopher Wooldridge I calibrated the gimbal with the lens on. That's it lol.
What do you mean by calibrated? You adjusted the weights?
Christopher Wooldridge I made a video showing how to calibrate.
Nice Video beautiful footage, can you start recording with button on the Feiyu using filmic pro app ? (mean Feiyu and filmic pro compatible)
Were you able to pair the Feiyu gimbal with Filmic pro?
Bravo! Great footage. Question: the adapter says its designed for certain models and I can't see the iPhone SE listed. Did you get the iPhone 6 adapter? Great work!
The iPhone SE and 5/ 5S share the same dimensions.
This footage, did you do any extra stabilisation in post, after using the gymbal and the iphone itself?
Nope
Hi, did you have any issues with the gimbal handling the weight of the lens. Thanks Robin

I have a similar setup but can not get the gimbal to balance with the moon dog lens on. How did you manage this?
I put on the heavier counter weight
Very nice, where did you get the moondog labs lens?
direct from Moondog Labs website
Amazing work! I wonder which frame rate did you use to capture these incredible footages?
60fps and then playback rate adjusted to 30fps in Sony Vegas.
wow. it is so smooth!!!! thank you so much!!!

Qui Truong use file sharing on iTunes to drag the footage onto an external hd

I edited using Sony Vegas. No color grading. IIRC, I adjusted contrast and that's it.
Interesting...you say in your description that you didn't like the color grading and yet that's what I liked. It had a really nice warm quality.
Can you please tell me how you got the moondog lens to balance with gimbal
abmvt easy, I calibrated it. I made a video so you can see how it's done. Super simple.
nice great light
