About Josef Newgarden:
Josef Newgarden (born December 22, 1990) is an American race car driver who was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
He found a passion for racing at a very early age which immediately led to go kart racing prior to his pursuit of a professional motorsports career. He is the only American to win the prestigious Formula Ford Festival in England, a well-known proving ground for up and coming European drivers. After a foray into Europe he returned to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights Series, securing the championship in his one and only season. In 2012, he secured a multi-year contract to compete professionally in the NTT IndyCar Series, a rare offer for a rookie driver.
He is the 2017 and 2019 NTT Indycar Series Champion and drives the No. 1 Dallara Chevrolet for the legendary Team Penske.

I’m so happy you guys came! I wish we could’ve provided you guys a more welcoming atmosphere but the detroit community is still fairly new to Indycar so it’ll only develop from here!! By the way I had a bus boys signs during the driver ceremony and Scott actually fist bumped me when he saw it lol.

I’m not gonna lie JoJo, ya crushed my heart when you said there would be no bus bros filmed in my hometown of Detroit 😢. It was cool to get to see you in person, but I definitely think you and the world missed out by you and Scotty not getting up to some shenanigans around the D. Hey dude, no idea if you or your team see these comments, but don't ever apologize for or worry about doing what you have to do to take care of yourself. If you end up feeling like you need to do less or different content for the sake of your well-being: do that. You already have to be "on" a hell of a lot more than most people; your fans will stick around even if you have to take more time for yourself. As an introverted person who can also fake extroversion-or do it for a little while if I can crash later-I get the struggle and I hope you cut yourself some slack. Good luck and get amongst it at RA!
2 oval tracks and 2 WINS, Great I was there at Texas in person. Good, Great race overall. Indycar needs to continue racing at Texas and build it up again. Need races on oval tracks. Keep the Texas race and add Mil.and Phoenix track and build them up.Indycar will have it made.

Dude, you could feel the vibe big time with all the drivers--Everyone just seemed wiped from May. Definitely feel like there should be a week off for you guys. All that on top of learning a new track must have been rough AF.

This track is too small and too bumpy. Did not look fun to drive.
