It is still insane to me how fast cheetahs can accelerate. To me, no matter how impressive their top speed is, their acceleration will always be the most impressive aspect of their amazing mobility. The thing unique about the cheetah is that no matter the surface, the bumpy surface outside of that road or clear road it will still keep it's acceleration and speed. Now try drive that formula on that desert surface with that speed, the car will break in matter of seconds.
also the tyres have massive drag, not so good for acceleration
Comparing a cheater to a formula car off-road is illogical as that car has been specifically built to be very agile through corners while being fast on bitumen roads not on savannahs. A rally car would have much greater potential if setup for a savannah and they have a faster 0-60 miles per hour time than a modern day F1 car.
Leopard/Cheetahs should be compared with humans or other creatures made of flesh not with a machine
