I will use both names but i was thinking Deamond on this one and Viper on the Zipp 26 outrigger you know thinner hull more snake like. what do you think of that?
I know my current "best boat" is a plastic Amazon special, but it handles pretty nice at about half throttle. I think the battery weight in the left rear helps keep the boat planted in the turns, but it's to a point.. too fast and it's football time 😆👍
Doesn't matter what a boat is made of, it matters how it makes you feel. i have had alot of boats in my 40 + years and you love all of them all for different reasons. That is why we do this is it not? Enjoy your passion.

How does the bottom of the hull look. I'm wondering if there's dimples in the bottom that's causing it to jump on the water. Just a thought. I've blueprinted a couple boats for the same reason and it took xare of it.
Thats a great thought, and funny you said that. I just came in from painting the bottom. I blue printed the back of the boat and removed 3 inches of the strakes from the rear of the boat as well. what was going to be a simple rework became a major rebuild LOL. stay tuned for the rest of the project.

I like a few deg of neg on rudder ( end towards keel) helps keep em pinned in turns.
Never tried that but will if i still have an issue thanks for the heads up
