Hello there. I'm an agronomist and my PhD thesis was in calcium oxalate crystals. Another species with similar effects is Philodendron sp. These species have developed a great defense mechanism to prevent herbivores from eating them. Though the role of these crystals is not just for defense but also for calcium storage and for the protection of the photosynthetic mechanism under stress. Another very common species that has raphide shaped Calcium Oxalate crystals is the grapevine. But these crystals are less in quantity and of shorter length thus eating food made with vineleaves like the Turkish Dolma isn't lethal for you.

I'm Coyote Peterson and I'm about to enter the Coyote Peterson zone with a Coyote Peterson. Everyone is going to feel this... 😂😂
Could Coyote Peterson survive Coyote Peterson?! 🧐
BRUH COYOTE PETERSON IS THE MASTER OF PAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AFTER HE TRIED DIFFERENT TYPE OF SPECIES HE IS STILL ALIVE!
Because he tells everybody that these stings are more risky and dangerous than they actually are. The statements about the raphides in this video are not only false (it's calcium oxalate, not oxide and the irritation is purely mechanical - no chemical burns), but his reaction is also very overexaggerated. His camera man is already fed up with all the acting.
Bro is testing his luck he is freaking immortal💀
I just love how production came on and was like “we ain’t takin the claim for that.”
When the world records for the most plants, insects, tested on you, please be safe and healthy and alive
2:13 man the food looks so good...
My mom always had these plants and always told us to go touch or eat them because they were toxic, I never believed her to later in life
Might want to edit your post again
I hope you missed the "not" cus otherwise your mom is a menace
