Damn, Sean is 100% the best interviewer that I've ever seen. That man asks the PERFECT questions that make a guest really appreciate hearing a unique question and deliver a totally honest response. That, in turn, opens them up to truly answering the rest of his fantastic questions in an authentic, truthful way. Sean's questions are the best at bringing out the human in everyone he talks to.
As Sean himself has said before I think, the sauces do a wonderful job of helping lower the general guard of his guests as well! Then he totally comes in and hits them with these knockout questions too, they really struck gold with this show/host combo!
What I love about this interview is that he isn't even that interested in the bite/sting episodes and he actually asks Coyote real questions and stuff about the majority of the things the Brave Wilderness is about. Most of the interviews where Coyotes been on the interviewer has always only asked about the stings and bites and why he does them and call him crazy. This was a really grounded interview which is the reason I still come back to this video even after over a year

14:12 I noticed that Sean does this thing sometimes where he mirrors his guest-smart!!! I forget the exact psychology of it, but I know that’s a trick for making people comfortable with you
I met Coyote in the L.A. airport just a few weeks ago when I was on the way to Australia for business and he and his crew were headed there for filming goodness knows what. Spoke to him for a few minutes, explained our family's fascination with his channels, and all I can say is he is the real deal. No false pandering to a fan. Completely legitimate appreciation. After some minutes of them unloading their gear, he came over to my colleague and I and asked if I wanted a photo of he and I for my daughter.... Yes, of course! Wish all the best to Coyote and his team... Like the next Steve Irwin for the next generation. Best Coyote!
I thought about halfway through that Coyote has been the best guest so far because he's so friendly and gives thoughtful responses to his thoughtful questions. And then he asks "how's your face doing? I feel like nobody asks you how you're doing" yep confirmed best guest lol
Gaby Portillo coyote is such a likeable guy. But h3h3 did ask too and i think nobody will ever surpass the appreciation i feel for these 2. But coyote is a close second.
Totally agree. I've watched a bunch of Hot Ones episodes and I find that the guests either over-react because that's their personality type and/or don't describe the sauce's effects (flavor/heat level/how it burns) in any detail. Of course we want to know about their lives but I personally also want to know their perception of the sauces as well. Coyote did all of these things ... and took healthy bites of each of the wings. He was polite, engaging and even asked Sean how he was doing. An all-around great guest on the show IMO.
@@murd3rtr0n the true challenge is really da bomb, which coyote handled great. The last two sauces never get extreme reactions like da bomb no matter what they are.
I've said it once, I'll say it again, Coyote is the next Steve Irwin. Exactly its not people partially eating meals that causes the majority of the issues with food. Most of the issues come from the fact that food spoils and its difficult to move it to places because of that.
In my honest opinion, yes. It starts out a little slow at first, but trust me, once the crew crosses the Grand Line, it gets way better. Honestly, I can't tell you for sure whether or not you'll like it because I get that it doesn't tickle everyone's fancy, but if it does, then usually you become fully invested into the series. Personally, I love the creativity, the diversity, the concepts, the main characters, the world, and just the overall story of One Piece. I fell in love with the way you get to follow this crew on its adventure across the seas, watching the crew grow from just this unknown pirate looking to find crewmates that will join him on his quest to find the "One Piece" and become the king of the pirates. As the story progresses, the crew grows, starting out from 1, to currently 9 (there's about to be 10 soon lol) watch the characters develop, and you get to learn more about the world piece by piece. And the characters are quite diverse, having their own little quirks, personalities, abilities, and responsibilities within the crew. Another thing to note is that it can be absolutely hilarious at times too, but also sad; in other words, expect an emotional roller coaster if you plan to get invested in the future. Lastly, if you've got a sweet tooth for action animes, then One Piece is definitely one to check out: the fights are almost always awesome. I hope I didn't confuse you too much, but I simply just didn't want to spoil anything too significant. It has become my all-time favorite anime, so I hope that you just give it a chance because it is simply an amazing story to get into and an overall enjoyable experience.
David Attenborough is English, not American. Therefore he cannot be a national treasure to someone commenting in the US. More importantly though, he's not even close to being the first person to do animal documentaries lol.
Kinda wholesome and I dig it. Gordon Ramsay is great but occasionally it's nice hearing someone who just seems naturally kind and makes learning really fun and interesting.

Someone: accidentally shoots coyotes arm Coyote: ahhhhh thats more painful than the tarantula hawk, almost on par with the bullet ant! Sharp, searing pain!!!! Oh look, you can see the bullet puncture site right there on my forearm. Mark: r u ok? Person who shot him: OMG IM SO SORRY DO I NEED TO CALL AN AMBULANCE? Coyote: ive experienced worse
I respect how when gets to the really hot sauces he embraces the heat and goes for more bites, most other guests only take a little nibble of the spicy ones
I thought he handled that rather well. He also cleaned his wings which is something most guests don't do. I would rank him near the top, but nobody beats Coolio, he drowned his last wing like an absolute boss which nobody has ever done.
For someone who's a non-fan of spicy food, and hasn't even tried Sriracha sauce before, I'd say he did amazingly. (Not, perhaps, that it's all that surprising given what we've seen of his ability to tolerate pain.)
No one did it like Rachel Ray. She straight wouldn't even eat the wings cause they were not big and juicy enough... Then she filed a spoon and ate all the sauces straight off it. It was the best one I have seen as far as taking the sauces like a boss. Love these guys together though definitely.
When Coyote is on your show, he becomes the host. Sean didn't even have to pull words out of him like with other people, he was giving essays for each question lol.

I'm coyote Peterson and I'm about to enter the spice zone with this wing
Be brave, stay spicy

Always been a fan of Coyotes. He's a genuine great guy. Can't wait to see him again next year.
Coyote Peterson is a god damn national treasure.
BleachKiller419 Cage gonna steal him
BleachKiller419 Why would you go and spoil the plot twist from "National Treasure 3: Enter the Sting Zone" like that? It's uncalled for!
BleachKiller419 why did you not brin up the first person to do animal documentries sir david Attenborough
David Attenborough is English, not American. Therefore he cannot be a national treasure to someone commenting in the US. More importantly though, he's not even close to being the first person to do animal documentaries lol.
His real name is Nathaniel Peterson I think I searched it idk if it's true but yeah
Two hosts who don’t swear under pressure. Something I didn’t know I needed
Kinda wholesome and I dig it. Gordon Ramsay is great but occasionally it's nice hearing someone who just seems naturally kind and makes learning really fun and interesting.
Coyote seems like a genuinely nice guy. I wanna meet him
Chad Manning he looks hype as hell

The resilience to stings and bites shows with his recovery from each wing
It's too bad they didn't upload him vlogging on the toilet like "I'm about to enter the Diarrhea zone!"
*Cuts to black as you hear him scream*

Coyote crushed it.
I’m glad he talked about sharks, I’ve seen so many people who misunderstand sharks, I know sharks can be dangerous, but that doesn’t mean push them to the verge of extinction.
Coyote Peterson is the man!!! Hot Ones just keeps getting better and better :D
Someone: accidentally shoots coyotes arm
Coyote: ahhhhh thats more painful than the tarantula hawk, almost on par with the bullet ant!
He once fell off a cliff and was just like "yeah that's worse than an alligator bite".
*Gets stung by literally everything at once
Coyote: the execution wasp is still the pain king
STINGING, SHOOTING PAIN. Look right there, thats the entry wound. Arghhh.
@@gremlin_22 ah, i see, a cultured sooubway person
@@dannykim2623 indeed
I respect how when gets to the really hot sauces he embraces the heat and goes for more bites, most other guests only take a little nibble of the spicy ones
In for a penny, in for a pound.
Dinner-fork tongue lmao
I thought he handled that rather well. He also cleaned his wings which is something most guests don't do. I would rank him near the top, but nobody beats Coolio, he drowned his last wing like an absolute boss which nobody has ever done.
For someone who's a non-fan of spicy food, and hasn't even tried Sriracha sauce before, I'd say he did amazingly. (Not, perhaps, that it's all that surprising given what we've seen of his ability to tolerate pain.)
Sean mentions that after the interview Coolio was face down on the Complex couch for an hour or something like that 🤣
GaryVee is the nr1 on this show when it comes to cleaning the wings.
I think he cleaned the wings out of respect for the animal that died for it
No one did it like Rachel Ray.
I'm quite a fan of Coyote Peterson. He's good at what he does, and he's clean and wholesome.
I think cause of his narrative in his videos and because of his informative mindset
