Wife of your subscriber and your fan! Went camping for 5th anniversary, made this for the second time. My husband is not a spicy food person, so we used polska kielbasa instead of anduille. Used some Montana made all purpose seasoning. No peppers as not fans. Even cold the next day, it was amazing Thanks for the videos!!!❤❤❤❤
I don't have the luxury of the massive griddles like the Blackstone, but I did buy a mini counter top griddle from Amazon, Tonight I tried out your recipe for my parents and I, Man I tell ya it was Awesome !! Soo good , it was my first time cooking shrimp, my dad's kind of a picky eater , I tell you he was diving into to that plate and went back for more !! Thank you for sharing
That is the beauty of doing stuff on a griddle, it can be any type of griddle or even a frying pan. I am so glad y'all like this and it turned out great for you!!
This guy is a great cook and I am a lot older than he and I have aways enjoyed cook on charcoal but I cook in la large cast iron pans still do but I am getting a griddle this year. I like a country Boy cooking and I understand his language. Have a great day.
We tried your Cajun style shrimp and sausage on the Blackstone Griddle today and it was a big hit with my family!! I am a rookie on the Blackstone, and I am getting better! I am looking forward to trying another one of your recipes! Thank you for sharing!!
Newbee here..... Since its so cold out what temp are you looking for to cook all this..... Looks great!!!! I will be asking more questions as I go.... Enjoy watching you work....
Hey! I usually cook on low and my griddle runs about 350 on low, but if I need to adjust I can. So really it don't matter a lot about outside temps. The griddle will still heat up to about the same temps, might take a little longer, but once you see white wisps of smoke coming off the surface, it is ready to cook. But about 350 is where this was cooked at. Glad you stopped in and are enjoying the videos!! I am planning on some great stuff coming soon!!
Brother, I just followed your recipe for the Cajun shrimp and sausage everything came out great. Just got my griddle and love it. BTW I’m south Louisiana so that’s way I tried your dish! 😎👍
Wow, now I feel like I done it right!! I feel like I should have added the Trinity to it....Maybe next time. Thanks for letting me know you liked it and enjoy that new griddle!!
These in this video are just griddle scrappers from the Dollar Tree but I am using ones from Griddle Guard now. Glad to hear you are enjoying the videos!!
Looks and sounds AWESOME! The Waltwins gave you a shoutout so I thought I’d check your channel out and so glad I did. I just got a Blackstone Combo and are finding great recipes here. Thanks for your contribution 👍🏻😋
Awesome, The Waltwins are great!! what video did they give me a shoutout, I must have missed it somehow. But I am so glad you came over and gave us a look, GLAD TO HAVE YA!!
Sitting here waiting on 430 and the family to come over.. trying this one out - sans potatoes, adding chicken, pineapple, garlic, lime juice and old bay mixed with lousiana mild seasoning. putting veggies down first.. then sausage and chicken/pineapple once chicken looks close put down the shrimp. medium low to start, cut to low about shimp time
Hello crazy pop! I just ran across your channel this morning and I love your content. So I will be subscribing. This looks absolutely amazing and delicious. Keep up the great work my friend 👍
I just watched this great video. Love your style of griddling. If you were to add a sauce what would you use or recommend. Something like an Alfredo type sauce. Just curious what you think
Hey Pops wondering if you can help out a new griddler here. The 3 flat scrapers you have on the side of the griddle, is that to act as a wind blocker? I had some heavy winds where I’m at every so often.
Yep. that is what they are for. I picked these up at the dollar tree and the work pretty good. The ones I am using now come from Griddle Guard and they work great also.
Just found your site. Looks good Pops. Not sure what else to call ya. I live in an apartment and don't have access to something like this because of many reasons but I just got a Ninja XL Grill and Griddle I plan to make something like this.
I have 1 question where is the Celery? * Cajun dishes have what known as the whole Trinty (onion pepper & Celery) if goes in just about everything for season
Thanks, never heard it called a baster before, even on the package it said dome. Around here a baster is a long tube with a bulb on the end that is made to pull up juices and squeeze them back out over what ever you are cooking. But now I have heard of a basting dome before, so I guess it could be called that!! So glad you are enjoying the videos!
Peppers, shrimp, sausage, onions and potatoes. What color !!! My mouth is watering 😋😋😋😋😋
This really turned out great!! Glad you enjoyed the video
Absolutely my favorite. Hands down
Thanks!!

Hey try butter with your oil and add some roasted 🧄 on your smoker with butter on the garlic. Just a suggestion and use Irish butter from Walmart.
I will defiantly try that, thanks for the tip!!
Have you tried Conecuh sausages? It's a game-changer!
Not yet, but I will....Thanks!
Yummy for my tummy
Definitely
Looks good to me

Mouth watering , when are cooking ribs on that black top ??

Looks succilent!! How many head are you feeding??
Thanks, well most of time at least 7, but that number climbs on the weekends!!
Love your accent ❤

Sounds like you have a plan!! Wish I was in your family this evening!!

came out great after running out of gas, spilling my beer, and learning how to fix a regulator. learned something new.
I like those heat shields and screen. Did you make it buy those??
The wind guards are some griddle scrappers I bought at Dollar Tree and the screen over the grease trap I bout from Griddle Goalie.
thanks.
Hello crazy pop! I just ran across your channel this morning and I love your content. So I will be subscribing. This looks absolutely amazing and delicious. Keep up the great work my friend 👍
Hey!! I have seen you in some chats before, thanks so much for coming over and checking us out!!
@Cooking with The Crazy Pop no problem. Lookin forward to seeing more.👍👍
Is the heat medium high?
Just gotta try next weekend......
Almost on low, so on my griddle that is about 350. Please let me know how it turns out for you!!
The dish looks great! Try the Ragin" Cajun (Medium) Andouille Sausage next. This has some heat!! I buy the sausage at Ingles in Upstate SC.
I'll have to look for that, Ingles is not to far away!!
I just watched this great video. Love your style of griddling. If you were to add a sauce what would you use or recommend. Something like an Alfredo type sauce. Just curious what you think
Thanks and so glad you enjoyed it. As far as a sauce, yes and Alfredo would be great or maybe try something like a Caribbean Jerk might be good.
Hey Pops wondering if you can help out a new griddler here. The 3 flat scrapers you have on the side of the griddle, is that to act as a wind blocker? I had some heavy winds where I’m at every so often.

I love to cook I love to eat good food that's what life is about. Aman
Yep, that makes a happy life!!
Where did you get that screen that covers grease hole at back of cook top
Griddle Goalie makes them.
Great lookin cook. I noticed a grate on the back side. Is this made or. Ought?
I bought it at Griddle Goalie
Are the metal plates on side of your griddle to block Wind from burners?
Yes they are.
@@TheCrazyPop are they custom made or you can buy them
Did that screen you have at the back of the griddle come with it? Or did you make that yourself?
I bought it at thegriddlegoalie.com/ if you get one, tell them you seen it here!!
Will do! Thanks for the quick reply. Love your channel!
Can you tell me where you got the screen to block the grease catch
Yeah, at thegriddlegoalie.com/
Can you tell us what screen? you have at your drain area. And where did you get it?
I bought it at thegriddlegoalie.com/
Those taters cooked up pretty fast under the dome. Great looking Cajun dish! 👍
Yeah, that dome is the trick for taters!!
Just found your site. Looks good Pops. Not sure what else to call ya. I live in an apartment and don't have access to something like this because of many reasons but I just got a Ninja XL Grill and Griddle I plan to make something like this.

Looks delicious; where's the rice?
This would be great over some rice!!
I have 1 question where is the Celery? * Cajun dishes have what known as the whole Trinty (onion pepper & Celery) if goes in just about everything for season
Your right, and if and when I redo this, I will definitely add the Trinity in it!!
Holy Trinity
Garlic was missing.
You can always add it in!!
A lesson in packing 8 minutes of usable content into 18 minutes, "you'all". I did take away a tip--use a screen over your grease shute. Thank you!
So sorry I took up so much of your time! Try watching my Shorts, Reels or even my TicToks.
@@TheCrazyPop Calling things as you see them is not always the best way to go through life. I apologize. All the best to you and your'alls.

the dome as you call it ...... is a baster I like your video's

You should boil those potatoes first takes too much time and too much gas to cook from raw be smart. You’re not really a chef you’re just a backyard.
