I love that from start to finish, no matter how many times it's a person in a costume, EVERY EPISODE Ruff is 100% certain that this one is a real monster or something supernatural. God Bless his child like faith that this time it's gonna be real
Sigh,….just like Young Fred would always blame Red Herring as the monster in A Pup Named Scooby Doo!
I mean....he did end up being right....nibiru
And it turned out that there was a layer of curse affecting every last costumed criminal, either by escalating their agitation or drawing them in.... so every villain is tied to the supernatural by virtue of location.
Fun fact, hot dog water is voiced by the actress who played Velma in the irl movies. The first time around.
I knew that voice sounded familiar!
I've been laughing my ass off since the first time she talked to Velma dieing because she's talking to herself lol and her outfits are based on the first scene of the movie
Yeah, it kinda feels weird to me. Feels like selfcest.
No one who ever started this series would’ve expected that the final overarching villain was an ancient interdimensional being of pure evil buried under Crystal Cove and intent on destroying the universe.
They said the same thing about Gravity Falls and look what happened in that town….
Frankly I got there about episode 10 I think? Makes more sense than the Fast and the Furious level stunts and every situational villain being effectively Peak Human level parkour experts.
But it does finally make the whole series make sense. Reality warping evil was the only reason so many people wasted time and skill making costumes than selling tech. LOL
@@andrewmarks2636 At least for this Scooby-Verse.
This video has more hours than my sleep schedule
LITERALLY though. 4 hours is my extreme max
You have sleep?!?!
@@BestMarshthat’s not healthy lol
@@Myaccount923eh, as someone who only needs 5-6 hours every day/night cycle its not to bad. Theres a decent number of the population that only need 4-6 hours of sleep and are totally healthy. Google it if you need to fact check me.
@@Myaccount923for example, its 4:50 am, im probably not gonna sleep until 5:30-6ish, and ill wake up around noon. Working from home and for yourself has its advantages .
37:53 Fred was confirmed to be on the spectrum by the creators which is why he has such a strong hyperfixation on traps and misses most social cues lol
That explains so much
Ok but as a fellow neurodivergent, Fred watching Danny Darrow, the first person to ever match his hyperfixation be lost almost immediately must have hurt so much.
I've done some research and can confirm, THIS version of Fred is on the spectrum.
Which is funny, as I've read a lot of people complain about this version of Fred being dumb and clueless, but as someone who is also on the spectrum, it has never really been an issue for me, I've just seen him as someone who has his interests and other people just haven't been able to understand that yet.
@@spiritomb8 oh absolutely, I love the dumb and clueless traits, I would argue he'd be that way with or without the autism, it's just enhanced by the fact he now has hyperfixations that prove he IS very intelligent, just in very specific fields.
@@KateCantDraw I know right?
It also gives a good reason why most of the traps are over elaborate and complex, even if that wasn’t the writers intentions.
3:25:20 The shout out for Black girl hair care was so random but much appreciated, lol. Thanks for that :D
I appreciate it too 😊

How much time do you have?
@@OlitotHi I’m at a cabin in the woods near a water reserve lake (At the time of posting). Time is pretty much all I have to use up here.
Ur a legend 💪
Thumbs up for that
You, you absolute legend, do Gods work 🙏🥹
Fun fact: the ending sets up the 60s show.
Love how in the later episode with the ghost and how he refers to the second episode of season one “the dog, dies!” That was definitely my favourite part
About the ending What I understood when I watched it a long time ago: there was a rewriting of reality and especially history, the evil existed across time at once and by being destroyed it was at once across history and therefore never existed and therefore no Mystery Incorporated (current and past) formed and no monsters ever existed, basically it could be called an ideal version of reality
Yeah basically destroying the ancient evil yoinked it from existence so the universe rewrote itself so the being never existed thus all the creepy shit that went down never happened leaving Crystal Cove just a normal non-mysterious town. I feel Mystery Incorporated might be a spiritual predecessor to the OG Scooby-Doo where they travel the country solving mysteries.
The way the tv show is structured i.e with a monster of the week episode and small segments of plot, is actually quite common in a lot of shows. X-Files does this too, with a couple of episodes a season dedicated to the overall story arc.
3:31:33 how did we go from bad ass Fred to spoiled rich kid in Velma honestly
that's the Scooby-Doo equivalent of the shyamalan airbender movie
Because white people = privileged and stupid according to the writer of that show, who also happens to voice Velma in it too. There's a reason why nobody remembers that show even got a second season, and was cancelled shortly after the season ended... The whole show was one writer trying to ruin a beloved universe of characters to play victim.
1:44:45 while this would usually just be an Illegal Use of Explosives charge (4 years), the fact he blew up an bridge that was an historic landmark, and fully intended to leave multiple people to die racks this up to an 1st degree attempted murder charge on multiple accounts, along with an destruction of historic landmark charge, as the bridge has probably remained in tact since Crystal Cove was established. In total he is facing 4 years, a death sentence, and a fine in the millions with mandatory pay on all his monetary assets.
Fun fact. The voice actor of Hot dog water was the live action Velma! So when they have tension in the theme park the beef is more about the part of Velma in the show. Not the “science fair”
The live action Velma’s actors name is “Linda Cardellini”
@@wyattrussell5396she’s also Wendy in Gravity Falls. Another show with an over arching mystery theme.
Just realized that Bud Shelton (29:02-ish) is voiced by David Faustino, who also voices Mako in The Legend of Korra
Also Bud from Married with Children
Hands down the best Scoody Doo show ever made. Ironic really, because when I first tried to watch it, I couldn't get into the first few episodes and wasn't big on the art style, but tried again a few years ago and was hooked.
Tbh, I'm ashamed to admit in one of the last episodes I totally didn't get the reference, and it's just dawned on me! "You turn traps into a fighting chance to live", that's straight out of Star Trek 3! "My god Bones, what have I done?" "What you always do, turn Death into a Fighting chance to Live!" There is another Trek reference which I did get straight away, the button that Pericles uses to administer the venom is literally an agonizer from the Star Trek Mirror Universe! I love little Easter Eggs like that!
I remember Mystery Incorporated ending on a cliffhanger and I know exactly what part I believed it ended on they were all in front of the creature and it had just been woken up so that means I just didn't watch the last episode and never noticed
You guys HAVE TO WATCH INFINITY TRAIN!! One of the all time best cartoons but way underrated!!! It is a fun “kid like” cartoon that also gets real dark. It’s like a creepier owl house, Amphibia type show.
But like if you want to lol
Peak show
1:22:10 kidnapping can be defined by ANY unlawful imprisonment, both seperate charges that can be charged at the same time. Yes, it is kidnapping even if you're kidnapped into your own house. The victim had no willing consent to this either, so it is also an unlawful imprisonment charge. That can get anywhere from 25 years to 40, with an $5K fine. Ironically, the one who'd face THE MOST unlawful imprisonment and kidnapping charges is Fred: As he has made innumerable traps... Yes, he is trapping a criminal, but he is also acting as a vigilante.
9:53 is the craziest foreshadowing ever
Love the constant Don Knotts cameos in almost every episode
2:14:41 - Flim Flam, a secondary character who met the gang minus Freddy during the events of "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" also where they met Vincent Vanghoul as well.
Ferb I know what we’re gonna do today
Mom! Phineas and Ferb are gonna waste their Day watching Guys watching Scooby doo for 8 hours!
Best comment! 😂
Seeing how they react to some of Fred's bits in this show makes me morbidly curious what they'd make of Riverdale
One of my favorite shows animated or otherwise. Am I dreaming?
I have watched this full through a few times since you’ve release this, and I sleep to it almost every night. Thank you❤ this show is my comfort show and you guys are my comfort RUclipsrs so this is the icing on the cake!!! Much love ❤
2:14:25 For context to anyone who needs it flim flam was a new character introduced in a series called the 13 ghost of scooby doo. the concept was shaggy and scooby get tricked into opening a box that held 13 of the worst demons in existence and they had to travel the world and put them back in it. flim flam was the velma of the group who always had a wacky invention to help them out. It was the first show in scooby doo history to give the thought of what if the monster was real and sadly was canceled after only 12 epsiodes with 12 of the 13 ghost captured until the movie that came out a few years ago that touches on that piece of abandoned scooby doo history called scooby doo and the curse of the 13th ghost.
I love that hotdog water is the voice of the Velma from the live action movies
Sheriff is like one of my favorite characters in this series. He always says such stupid, but hilarious things.
2:44:09 depends on the caliber. 7.76 Government has 3 shots for revolvers, it is also known as "bear killer rounds" cause of the ridiculous size. 50 S&W has 6 shots. Tuaron 9mm has 7. 5mm (Very long round, made almost entirely in huge ammounts) revolvers have 12 shots, and then 22LR (Peashooter caliber) can easily pack 22 shots in a revolver. You can still make 22LR very powerful however by fine tuning the receiver and hammer and gas chamber (the gas chamber is the part of the gun that affects velocity & power by igniting behind the bullet, it's also one of the main reason silent ballistic firearms are impossible, silencers do not go "pew pew", they make you able to withstand hearing the gunshot without ear protection).
ok but like the gang polycule will forever make sense to me
BILLY!! ENGAGE THE ALGORITHM!!!
you got it, billy!
@@CasualKing21 [Pulls lever to Activate the Algorithm.]
When you said the Dad looks pissed. When I saw him I pictured Red Forman from That 70s show. lol
Absolutely loved this show. I kinda feel like they missed out on the chance of having him summon his minions at the end and they were versions of every monster they've ever faced
People dont understand the ending. all of that happened it wasnt for nothing all those people died this is a new timeline a new universe they were thrusted into its a bitter sweet ending everything is better but its not their world or their life everyone they knew as they knew them is gone and these people dont really know them they know this worlds ideal version of them but they are not the same as those versions.
Mystery Incorporated reamins an amazing and wild experience from start to finish! Still my favorite series from the Scooby Doo franchise to date. I initially binged you guys watching season 1 a year ago and I'm finally back to binge-watch you guys reacting to both seasons altogether now. Happy Friday! 🙏🏽
2:05:29 Jetpacks of this design and caliber can only fly for a maximum estimated, keyword, estimated duration between 30 and 45 minutes. The jetpack can fly at up to 46 miles per hour kilometers per hour (I use imperial, thank you: If you don't understand how to do imperial which is very very simple then you're honestly an neanderthal to me) at heights of up to 3,000 feet (How high is that? Multiply your middle finger by the empire state building at least 900 times.), anyways the pilot controls thrust, altitude and direction (Think XY and Z) with two hand controls, similar to those on a motorbike, some designs actually can keep one hand free at all times. Most use a crude design such as gasoline. So a jerry can can be hidden somewhere to achieve this effect / illusion of being CONSTANTLY in flight.
Ruff: "And the army..."
Ruff: *proceeds to show a photo of Marines.*
Me: *Visible anger*
Fred Mystery Incorporated can really just be described as “autism be damned, that boy can work a trap”
Funfact! The scene where the gang throws each other the Heart of the Jaguar is an Easter egg to their live-action film incarnations, throwing the control panel to each other in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004).
4:01:15. I find it just a tad ironic that a man named Warsaw (as in the capital of Poland) is what stopped another man from becoming a German band player. If you know, you knoe
The thing is…this should’ve had another season. Like now we know that this has happened before and the new Mr E knows that they created another dimension, it can explore the evil entity across other dimensions
Vincent was on the old series the 13 ghosts of Scooby doo
So was Film Flam
that show was my childhood and honestly its great to see him again even if he is not an actual warlock in this incarnation
Yeah, pity that film sucked. :/ He was a great character in MI, but he was kinda wasted in that film!
The new era of films that followed off the back of Mystery Inc were really disappointing, but, they couldn't get better than Mystery Inc, in fact, they couldn't even get close to matching it in the films! With the only possible exception being Camp Scare!
As a Rhinelander... you can't imagine how awesome it was to see a Hodag in Scooby Doo
Rooby-Rooby-Roo.
Organic pudding. Look up a basic pudding recipe, heat milk and sugar with cornstarch to thicken, technically all organic products (not vegan). I prefer custard, heat milk with eggs to bind it. Seriously, 20 minutes in the kitchen, an hour in the fridge, and your women folk will love you for a sweet treat as long as you clean up after yourself.
I don't know if you realised, but this is prequel of orginal 60s' hanna barba Scooby-Doo. Even mystery shack look like that one from original show
but the evil is eliminated at the end of this one and in the original there is still underlying evil they just don't address it
wrong show
I never realized this. It makes sense, because in the original series, the gang is just traveling everywhere.
@@Peridot916 I mean, that museum doesn't make sense either way. How was the thirteen ghosts thing before the show ? They're supposed to be teenagers in Mystery Inc but you would have to go through all the old Scooby-Doo with red shirt Shaggy for Scrappy and this story and only then start this series
Don’t know how many people noticed but hot dog water is voiced by the actress who played Velma in the live action movies
This is definitely my favorite run of the scooby gang theyve done
Was planing to rewatch this show and this video show up just in perfect timing, thanks
(also Mystery Incorpareted is best Scooby Doo show, fight me)
14:23, years later and i only just realised
same.... I facepalmed.
Scooby Doo’s Creepiest Capers was like a documentary style movie which showed pictures of the gang’s families. That should have been the 1st time they showed the parents
I wached this cartoon soooo long ago. And having a blast watching it again with y'all....
It’s crazy to me that if you had enough training and equipment, you could probably beat any monster the gang meets in a fist fight.
Hotdog Water is the best! This was my childhood. I can quote episodes. edit: 4:30:47 and yeah, I had a major crush on Velma too. Everyone did.
I’ve noticed all the entities talking about the dog must die bc he’s being manipulated, they were actually talking about professor pericles
This fred is an absolute UNIT lmao
Where Are You, What's New and Mystery Incorporated the Holy Trinity of Scooby Doo.
Didnt know i needed this until now
I could play this video overnight and keep it on to see if I got a proper sleep 😭😭💀💀
fun fact you made the cortext (from crash bandicoot) comparison when talking about nibirus head and you were almost there the voice actor for nibiru is indeed clancy brown who voice cortex but he also voiced uka uka (the evil mask) and he used the same voice for nibiru that he did for uka uka
Around 2:14:20 ocean man seems to have invaded the fishing boat. ♪Ocean Man♪
1:21:55 the way this dude is dressed, along with that goatee beard hybrid, made me think of Che Guevara... This is Che Guevara if he was an eco-terrorist instead of a human rights activist basically.
2:11:50 - "Welcome to...FRIGHT...NIGHT....for real." Fright Night (1985, Jerry Dandridge)
1:50:33 when I first watched this, I was like "The irony of my name change literally is biting me in the ass in the form of an edgelord parrot..."
2:14:36 James Gunn hate for Scrappy Doo was spiteful he willed his existence out of his own universe.
Their disbelief Cassidy and Marcy actually died.
Imagine if Mystery Incorporated was redone with an R rating
1:21:30 - Unlawful restrainment, Unlawful arrest, assault and battery, and criminal tresspass, damage to personal property and a few others I'm sure.
5:26:26 IvE SeeN YOu cOmMit WaR CriMES *goofy laughter*
Welp...my day is set. Time to clear my schedule, no fortnite today, Billy! 💜
Rewatching this and your comments about a zombie being offended reminded me of an old movie. I can not place the name of it but as I recall the dead military veterans got so sick of the country being run badly they rose up, voted and started eating the problem.
These long vids r so CLUTCH
