The way Melissa delivers that line “She is SO connected” always makes me giggle 🤭.

I think Emily’s wedding idea would have been perfect for Lorelai. Snow, horses etc. It just screams Lorelai.

I still think about Emily's Romanov wedding sometimes. The woman had skills and no one let her use them. Imagine having wealthy, connected family like that and just wasting it.

Can you have all the stress and trauma and humiliation just to let your Mother spoil or make you pay for it in some way for something you don't want on your day

@@JillHope-Bailie-xt5gwLol. What trauma? The Internet has diagnosed everyone with PTSD. It's ridiculous. Imagine being a struggling single mom who flat out rejects hypergamy. Pathetic!

@@freeinghumanitynow You make a good point, but given the disastrous result every time Emily interfered in Lorelai's life, I'd skip the riches. It comes with a steep price tag.

@@cilliansands6166 🙄 Not this silly narrative again. For the billionth time: money is not evil; the LOVE of money is evil. Lorelei isn't a rebellious moron because her family is wealthy. Many poor single moms are rebellious; it's a SPIRITUAL thing that they're usually born with. Her parents being emotionally distant and overbearing certainly doesn't help but no, the money isn't the evil here.

@@freeinghumanitynow you're clearly having an issue understanding. No one here, certainly not me, vilified money: the coin. It's the empowerment that the likes of Emily take from it by turning it into a blackmailing tool. Basically, take the comforts that come with it, but never be in full control of your life; if Emily had her way and if Lorelai wouldn't have cut her off, Lorelai's life wouldn't have been hers, but what Emily would have wanted. That was my very clear point when I said Emily's involvement had a steep price tag; a simple point anyone with basic reading skills would have understood easily.
But not you; you need me to feed you each word with choo-choo noises.
You should learn to read comments before you respond with a prepubescent eye roll, spiritual crap talk, histrionic "billionth time" and the inability to spell the name LORELAI.
