My friends just went to Hawaii for their 30th Anniversary and she was telling me how much the prices were there compared to the stores in other states. I can’t wait to go just to shop. Love your buys.

Boy you got some lovely bags. I love Hawaii so much we go every year. The shopping is amazing. Have you been to Maui and Oahu. I actually prefer Oahu instead of Maui. Maui felt really cool temperature wise. Have you been to Ala moana mall? I know what you mean my friends look at me blankly when I ramble about Purses. That’s why this community is so fun. Well done. Everything is so pretty. I cannot believe the price of the agenda 😭😭. I got the GM about five/six years ago and it $275. Now that’s not even the cost of the PM. Madness

I got my PM agenda preloved (1993) in immaculate condition for $200 🎉 sometimes it’s worth looking preloved

Mary Dodd, where did you buy your LV agenda GM planner - for $275? I’ve never known them to be for $275 - not even being a Former LV employee, for the past 8 years, did we ever sell the GM or MM at that price. You must have bought it at a preloved consignment store- for that price.
LBLovesLuxury, you’re absolutely on point; having worked for LV, the cost and quality of their latest items , not only had it diminished, in quality but that their cost has increased surmounted as well.
An inverse ratio -that is quite laughable. It’s no surprise that around 10-12 years ago, the cost and quality ratio was much more comparable than today’s insane productivity costs. I’m team Pre- Loved all day!
I see that new Gucci bamboo bag leather strap is adjustable? I have a vintage one & is not adjustable🙁

@@lblovesluxury my vintage bag is from mid 80s it's in great condition, because it wasn't used. Leather & interior are quite different, BUT i do worry about bamboo handle loosing shape & "lacquer layer" getting damaged

This is the mini Dior’s best bad. It’s so cute but the color is not very outstanding. Definitely there is a better color of it!

I thought no tax in Hawaii?
Not sure about the other stores but Dior Waikiki was the only store I know of that didn't charge tax for a period of time. Unfortunately they started charging tax again a month before I arrived on the islands :(

Exactly! Every time I plan a trip to Hawaii I plan to go shopping! The Antigona is one of my most used bags, its a great work bag
If you still have friends there you can purchase the bag in Hawaii as long as it is shipped within Hawaii. Went shopping there last fall but Chanel prices were the same as everywhere else. Tax was better though.

Where did you purchase the lady Dior? We go to Hawaii several times a year and last time we went to Oahu we went shopping. I have my eye on the so black patent lady Dior (probably the medium but not sure) and wondering if the prices are still better than online. I hope so!

Yes Europe is tax free but I bought these while I was on vacation so I figured I would take advantage of the Hawaii discount
You can get VAT back, but you return to the US, you have to declare & pay customs fees. If you don’t, you risk forfeiture.
There is no comparison with Cartier! Once you ware Cartier, you will not interested in any other brands due to the style comfort!

This kinds of the buckle is no good and you may lose your money because it can open it up without your attention.
