    I had the exact same problem with the menu clicking on my CR-10. It was caused by the unshielded wiring making contact with the power supply. I was able to wrap the cable in electrical tape which solved the problem. I know the Ender doesn't have the same configuration, but maybe my experience will help you troubleshoot the menu problem.

      @@3DPrintingNerd At worst it's the PSU. That was my problem with the Ender 5 (Replaced it with a genuine Mean-Well fixed it right up (signal feedback into ground)).
      One way you can test it is by detaching the screen from the printer frame and place it on the table (with the screen or bracket not touching the frame).

  • @axionhusky8887
    @axionhusky8887 3 года назад +1

    I experienced that beeping on my Ender 3 Pro. I printed two washers for the screws that hold the LCD onto the frame which spaced it out just enough to prevent the metal of the LCD touching the frame and the beeping stopped! Seems to be some weird grounding/feedback issue.

  • @michaelforry8996
    @michaelforry8996 3 года назад

    Joel - I had the same beeping (and clicking of the button thing) on my Ender 5. Take the lcd out of the metal case and see if it stops, mine did. You could put rubber washers or plastic ones in between the metal housing and the screen or just print a new plastic holder. That is what worked for me.

    Sand it, coat it, paint it! Its too big for my lathe or I would suggest setting up a jig to add putty and make it round and then use it to sand it smooth.
