I love how at 24:47 Alex’s look firstly seems like “woah Rhod is in trouble now” and then you get the reveal that it actually means “holy shit, you called it!”
it had so much stuff. Wozniac had a bit of a whiff of this season for me, where all the contestants/parts of the puzzle formed a mighty picture. Rhod and Greg being friends (his mom getting involved) Acaster's slapstick boyish character bringing out the retired teacher in Greg, the wang and his haggling, the knappett, bosh! It all connected so very well. The extension task summed it all up pretty well 🤣
"it's frustrating isn't it Greg when you're asked to complete tasks under pressure and there's a lot of people watching?" Is a fantastic Jessica point.
@@jackchilton7596 I love when Taskmaster goes meta on itself with unintended lines like that. Like the cat smash. I still can't find it again, but there exists a version that shows her about to smash it, James and Greg pleading with her not to smash it, then Alex gives his evil nod, and smash! It made for a really good podcast story and bts clip. Like I said I just wish I could find the full version again.
I love every season, but the team tasks and the general sniping and backstabbing in the studio in this season is both relentless and hilarious. I must confess I'm a little curious if Rhod and James Acaster have worked together since!
I went to see James acaster on his Hecklers welcome tour. I took a hula hoop to physically heckle him but they wouldnt let me take it into the theatre 😂
I've seen so many clips from this series I keep forgetting that I never actually saw any of the full episodes. These clips are funnier than every season I have seen properly so now I can but hope that this season is either on the official channel now or will be soon.
This season and season 1 have some of the best interaction in the whole series with Greg, the contestants and just out right sociopathic energy! S1 still have some of the best comebacks though and outbursts! Think its season 1 With Josh!
It is from the Bruce Lee movie "Game of Death," but Quentin Tarantino (who is very into 1960s and 1970s low-rent exploitation films, both domestic and international) made it popular on Kill Bill, volume 1.
@Channel 4 Entertainment Whilst I’m loving the fact way Channel 4 are now uploading more to RUclips, the fact that you are now including labelling *over* video content with warnings to appease people who are permanently offended by everything, you have also gone ahead and censored it anyway?! Isn’t the *entire reason* Channel 4 have made a separate version of every episode called ‘Taskmaster Bleeped’ so that there is an alternative version for people under 16/children/easily offended people to watch without having cause to complain?? Taskmaster Bleeped doesn’t carry *any* warnings about adult content/language, *because it is bleeped out* , so why is there now a scrolling banner across the first 5 seconds of this video saying “strong language & adult humour” when Greg Davies first swear word just after 1:00 is muted?!? If that’s the course you are taking, what is preventing you writing “contains full frontal nudity” and then only showing people wearing clothes?! Fans of the content are normally always old enough to view it anyway, so it’s particularly disappointing when even things like a verified adult RUclips account still isn’t enough to view content without it being censored. You’ve started a precedent by making Taskmaster Bleeped, so why can’t children’s & non verified RUclips accounts only watch the censored version, and leave adults to watch the regular versions?! Censorship just makes adults who regularly view Channel 4’s popular shows feel like they are being treated like children, it’s incredibly patronising to be treated like a child some 22 years after becoming an adult. Stop patronising your viewers! Ps, Sorry I forgot to warn you of all the swearing & adult content in my above message. It’s censored so that there is no swearing or adult content, but I feel like I should follow your lead & include this warning anyway(!)👏
Can someone explain why Greg says this and him have been friends for 15yrs but they were flatmates when 20ish? From stories maybe even younger. So wouldn’t it be like a 30+ yr friendship?
James Acaster - *how* does he manage to come across as *such* a *complete* prick *all the time*?! I guess it's a skill, but holycrap, he just exudes arsehat vibes
@@petesmart1983 No, he really isn't. According to people that have dated him and lived with him, he really is just a complete arsehole. Why would he be "playing a character"? That makes no sense.

I think this will forever be my favourite series. That’s not saying the others weren’t good, but this series is just packed with iconic TM moments.

The best seasons are the ones where the contestants all have good chemistry like this one
James and Rhod were the stars, but Jess' cat smash and air horn, Phil Wang's "wangness" and Keri's "bosh" made this my personal fav series.
Also Kerry and Greg saying "laminator".
"it's frustrating isn't it Greg when you're asked to complete tasks under pressure and there's a lot of people watching?" Is a fantastic Jessica point.

Alright. You've convinced me. I'll rewatch again.
Rhod going "awhhh that's what comes from being an absolute tosser" absolutely slays me ☠️😂
Series 7 was hilarious and taskmaster in a whole is just one of the best shows on British tv
Alex breaking after James asks, “Are we the stupidest so far?” Gives me life.
- "He's eaten his own child. Which is an act of..?"
- "Happiness."
12:03 I LOVE that you can tell when the task shown is the first one from the episode since the crowd absolutely lose it at Phil’s outfit
Rhod was one of the best contestants ever. He was creative, chaotic, hilarious and he took the (joke) "hate" from the others very very well.
I love how Greg goes straight into teacher mode with Acaster
This was the best series, simply because it was entirely comedians, not just random people off the TV
Anything with Rhod is worth watching
As an American, everyone on the show is just a random person to me!
And James… both rhod and James work well together.
Series 16 was also quite excellent
...every series is all comedians...
James blacked out and lost himself for a moment there. 😂
the chemistry of this cast was amazing
The amazing comedy triangle of Rhod, James and Greg
"how dare you even speak!" Brilliant
16:35 is the most school-teachery thing Greg has ever done on Taskmaster.
It really is great. Because it's not about James having an outburst, but about him cursing. We all saw Mr. Davies in that moment.
It's one of the few times I feel like Greg's real personality comes through and shows that his whole mean taskmaster thing is just a stage persona
He did the same with Nish in series 5. Full on teacher mode
this series was GOLD ive rewarched it about 6 times
“My eyes are circles.” Never fails to get me 😂
Season 7 was the greatest series.
Couldn't agree more!
Yeah, I enjoy them all but for me it's series 7, 14 and 13 as the top three.
"My wife Nell"
I love every season, but the team tasks and the general sniping and backstabbing in the studio in this season is both relentless and hilarious. I must confess I'm a little curious if Rhod and James Acaster have worked together since!
especially after the group task of build an extension and Rhod just put a sign on the garage and called it a day XD
“One was spoiled, one was fat, one of them got their foot stuck in the measurer like that”
POETRY.
Can we agree that the cardboard MC Hammer is, in fact, three dimensional?
Maybe, if we also can agree that it also exists in time, so... four?
You still can't touch this.
The standee is 3D, it displays a two dimensional representation of MC Hammer.
This was the best series of taskmaster by far! Laughed so much every episode
I went to see James acaster on his Hecklers welcome tour. I took a hula hoop to physically heckle him but they wouldnt let me take it into the theatre 😂
How many cabbages were there?
I am surprised that throughout the whole series, no one said "Phil's wang".
I suppose it was too low hanging fruit
Banana and plums?
I thought, "do they not use 'wang' as one of the infinite synonyms for penis in the UK?"
I think you mean "it was two low hanging fruit".
They did say something along the lines of: “Lets look at our next two contestant named after the penis: Phil Wang and Rhod Gilbert
the entirety of S7 was absolute gold.
if Greg asked me "now, what's wrong with you?", I'd instantly went through existential crisis and daddy issues at the same time.
This is easily my favorite series.
There were other great ones, but these contestants had great chemistry.
And James Acaster is the best.
The absolute best series by far
"my eyes are circles" 😂
This combination of contestants is pure magic. I don't know if they'll be able to top it 😂❤
Gregs teachers coming out there 😂😂 scariest teacher ever!!
I would probably rate this as my favourite season. The combos were great and every contestant brought something!
“My wife Nell” 😂
This series along with nz series 2 are top tier
This series and series 15 were my favourite series pure gold oml
I appreciate that they used Rhod for laughs, but he definitetly should have won that series.
5:30 - My friends and I always referred to those as "Gay Bacon" and we loved it

Epic meal time started that, or at least made it more widespread back in the day.

Agree with others. I think this is the best series.
This might be the best season ever... Or it may be due to Rhod himself.

seasons 2, 7, and 14 are the best so far
i still think james is completely wrong about the circles task. it was the BEST circle, not the most circles!
This crew came back to earlier references more than just about many others.
Great season. Acaster was brilliant.
So love this show...

Rhod is always hilarious!
Best season
Tbf; The fat-joke prediction is only half as impressive when you notice that he does a fat-joke at least every 5min xD
Didn’t James win Phil wang so why didn’t he get his points and win that season
I hope Alex is really well payed. 😂
Seeing as he created the show, I think he has probably done alright out of it money wise 😂
To this day I still don't know if James meant the things he did on this series or if he's just special....
that was a good series, was 7
There was only 1 small thing that made series 7 hard to watch, and that is Wang's wang 😂
I believe that a card about Greg being fat was ready for a lot of tasks... 😇
I have to ask who annoys Greg more Alex Horn or James Acaster ? 😂
I have a fantasy where I form an unholy union with Greg Davies to spite Joe Rogan
JAMES I MIGHT BE GOING TO UR SHOW!
Hilarious as ever, but what we really need is super long adverts every few mins to really break up the continuity......oh wait..
Incredible
