Your presentation is excellent. You are extremely personable, and the video was very helpful and pleasant to watch. Thank you!
Your teeth are lovely but please dont brush so vigorously ,let the electric brush do the work on each tooth ,only saying because i brushed way too vigorously and pushed my gums right up causing major sensitivity 😮
I thought the same thing-They have told me at dentist to let the electric toothbrush do the work & for me to be very gentle with the brush- not pushing or pulling too hard. Because vigorous brushing as you were doing, will eventually cause your gums to recede.
I’m a dental hygienist
It’s not for everyone and it depends on your initial shade.
Plus Crest is abrasif , I don’t recommend it
It’s not one method fits all.
Toothpaste you recommend and not mint, it burns my tongue. Thanks😊
Thank you for sharing your secret to white bright teeth!! A lot of people wouldn't do that , but that's kind of you to do so!
Be careful.
You are going to wear down your enamel.
I would worry about her gums receding brushing so aggressively. Don't take your anger out on your poor teeth.
I quit using any toothpastes or dental products with fluoride. Fluoride causes the teeth to pit and cause fluorosis, which is yellowing of the teeth. Flouride also causes gums to bleed. Since eliminating flouride products, my gums no longer bleed and my teeth are no longer stained from the flouride. There are seversl good non- flouride toothpastes out there that have all natural whitening ingredients in them. 😁
You didn't brush your teeth, you assaulted them.
Omg you just did my exact dental routine! I’ve been doing this for years and I have the whitest teeth. I also don’t drink any drinks that discolors your teeth. People think my teeth are fake sometimes. I also have an obsession with flossing lol
I love my waterpik flosser!! Feels so fresh and clean!!
Do you have to worry about sensitivity though I heard these things make your teeth very sensitive????
@@kujvary I did at some point because I was brushing not just twice but 3 times each time I brush. So I cut down to 2. I use a whitening toothpaste first followed by a toothpaste for sensitive teeth like Sensodyne and it worked. No sensitivity at all. I would make sure your teeth/gums are healthy to begin with. Brushing too much can also damage your enamel. I see my dentist religiously 2-3 times per year.
They was a lady ask me if my teeth were my real teeth. Well I just looked at her. I have never had anyone ask me that. I do this to lol 😇😇😇
Keep in mind, if anyone has bridge work with crowns, or implants with crowns, they won’t change the color of those crowns. 😮
@@zanna9857yes ,and sadly it ends up making a composite end up looking like a rotting tooth-‘my natural teeth are naturally super white, composite used was a good bit shady or dingy in comparison , so the whiter my teeth, the uglier that front composite tooth is 😢
You can always have your “crowns” replaced, to match your new, brighter smile. OR, only use this method, until all your OTHER teeth, match the crowns!!
@@catherineg9943 the last 2 crowns I got, I requested a lighter color because I told them I’m lightening my teeth. 😊
Peroxide works wonders as well. My son’s teeth are really white and he uses peroxide twice a week and his dentist said there’s nothing wrong with that. People used that before there was mouthwash.
Yeah, found that out the hard way. One of my front teeth was completely rebuilt because it had died and the other had a large area that had been chipped. Both were damaged in a bike wreck when I was 8. When I tried whitening them they stayed dingy looking. Needless to say I’m very careful about how often I how often I use whitening strips. 😬
Thank you for getting to the point. No long video. Thank you!
It was still to slow. I had to speed up the replay to 1.5
Would like to know if you drink coffee or tea? If you do, and are able to get your teeth that white...now, that's amazing!
Your teeth look so beautiful (& white). I'm going to try this asap!! So sweet of you to share! 💗
DR BRONNER TOOTH PASTE IS EXCELLENT AND INCLUDES COCONUT OIL.
I use a Waterpark. I'm more concerned with removing the plaque and keeping my gums and teeth healthy than whitening them. I have heard the strips can cause teeth sensitivity. So, it's fine if that's your concern. I have been to my dental cleanings and the have very little plaque to remove. My hygenist wanted to know how I do that. I told her, my Waterpik! Best investment I have ever made for my teeth.
I recently purchased a Waterpik and immediately regretted not getting one sooner. In the morning I only brush, but at night I use string floss, then the Waterpik, then brush and my mouth has never felt so clean. When I first got my Waterpik I used it after brushing but then realized I was removing what little flouride toothpaste leaves on my teeth.
Unfortunately I used whitening strips and whitening toothpaste for years and damaged my enamel so can attest that it happens.
Now I'm only concerned with how healthy my teeth and gums are, not the whiteness of my teeth.
Best investment I ever made too! Although some other brands are cheaper and better with higher pressure. Been using dental irrigators for 15 years so I've tried a few! The make Elegant off Amazon was super good. Gone back to waterpick now but regret it a bit.
My dentist told me I had some enamel damage and was probably brushing too hard and to only use soft bristle brushes. I have to use sensitive toothpaste and was told NOT to use whitening strips 😢 I believe not drinking coffee or tea and not smoking is your best bet along with gently brushing twice a day and floss twice a day my dentist said flossing is just as if not more important than brushing (as in floss your teeth 2x day) I suppose if this works for you and your teeth aren’t damaged great but I’d definitely talk to a dentist before doing this!
Yes the dentist is the safest way to whiten teeth these at home practiced cam harm the enamel
Dental offices use an even stronger whitening formula.
Also, flossing is bunk as far as preventing cavities. At least according to a big study done, not too long ago.
My dentist refuses to do tooth whitening because it is actually bone dehydration. The whiter the teeth, the drier they are.
@@sammyn549 really??? That's scary why are dentists doing it then?
I cringe when I see someone brush their teeth like this; it's all wrong.😬
I used whitening strips before but they made my teeth sensitive.
Same thing for me and I believe the enamel is gone, so my teeth won't whiten.
Peroxide will do that.
This is definitely worth a try. I smoked for years & I am always struggling for my teeth to look better! Thank you!
So trying this routine!! Thank you for the tips Annie!!! ❤️🙏
My dentist told me years ago that I'd regret it if I used whitening toothpaste more than once or twice a week. I was young and thought "yeah, right". He was right. Those abrasive toothpastes damage the enamel on your teeth and you will have painful teeth. Personally I don't even use it once or twice a week. I plan on going to my grave with my own teeth and I don't want to damage them at all.
Same 😢
Eeew. Ok sure. My dentist never said that. I don't think you HAVE a dentist.
The reason the toothpaste works for a while it’s because it’s actually too abrasive. My dentist brushes his teeth with only baking soda. He says it will not damage the enamel. Toothpaste with “whiteners” just means it’s abrasive and there’s no whitening agents in them. Look it up and you’ll see he’s right. It’s a shame people are ruining their enamel.
The strips did not work for me at all and they are way overpriced.
@@SirenaSpades that’s right, don’t believe anyone else’s experience, learn the hard way and damage your teeth 😂
Thanks for the info! I’ll be heading to Walmart today👍🏻 Also, it seems to me that the products now are somehow gentler than in years past, for those who have tried strips long ago.
Rather than brushing twice, why not just brush twice as long one time? What is the difference?
That's like saying wash your hair once for long time. I gotta wash rinse and rewash to make my hair feel clean and your teeth feel almost dentist clean brushing twice. I have gel that comes with a mouth light I get from discount store for $40.00. I brush twice before bed. Use a half proxide / water rinse followed by Listerine and brush once when I wake up cause my mouth still has a clean feeling from night before. Also I been oil pulling with coconut oil I'm seeing massive improvements.
@@lacy9984 I have very thick hair and I only wash it once. It gets nice and clean. I have to thoroughly rinse it with water. I am happy for you that your teeth are so clean after spending all that time doing all those activities for it.
Whatever you do, just be mindful of water being wasted. Thank you🙏🏼
OK, but are the chemicals used on the strips safe for the human body? Also, keep in mind that the Walmart strips are probably made in China, where such concerns are dismissed. 🦷
what isn't made in China? Our country is owned by them, so sad. Most of our pharmaceuticals are made in China, so there's that.
@@deborah3912 You make a solid point, but that doesn't speak to the concern of product safety; which should always exceed cosmetic results. Thanks for the product review.
also, one shouldn’t use toothpaste with fluoride in it..
I’m thinking that the ingredient in the strips, that is really doing much of the work is Hydrogen Peroxide - based on the foaming. This is a healthy, safe ingredient to use.
@@NadoCrowFriend Agreed, but it's the mystery reagents that are in question.
Coconut oil whitens your teeth when swishing and brushing with whitening toothpaste.
Yes crest or charcoal Colgate is awesome. But I used whitening streaps / tried them and my teeth and gums did hurt so much:(
I add organic lemon essential oil to my coconut oil. So good!
Please do a research on the ingredient list for all of the products that you are using. I did and believe I will take a pass on this one. Thanks 😊
It iS peroxide in the strips that bubbles. Celebs white teeth are from applied veneers. Teeth whitening will make your teeth sensitive sooner or later.
These tooth whitening strips ruined my enamel after one go! My teeth now look translucent since using them. My dentist says they see this all the time and the chemicals in these strips are shocking :(
This is exactly what happened to me
@@glutenfreespicedm8663sorry to hear 😢 has anything helped you? I’m spending a fortune trying all these natural treatments to now try remineralise my teeth and attempt to rebuild enamel… but I think they are now permanently translucent
Good advice. I would do the course of Equate whitening strips after getting teeth professionally cleaned (not whitened). Brushing teeth after drinking coffee or tea helps too.
Baking soda helps as well.
I always do the double brush - I know when clean is by the amount of bubbling vs sudsing - dirty teeth tends to more foam when spitting out, but once teeth are clean and huh brush w paste, it makes a big bubble lather almost like how you shampoo hair, if it’s oily the fist go isn’t too sudsy but the subsequent washes will be super lathery
I turn off water while brushing . Saves water. 🙂
And I read where you shouldn't wet your brush first before applying toothpaste. Go right to the mouth and then rinse your toothbrush well after brushing.
The water keeps your sink cleaner from the spit and foam and gunk.
@@howlingwaters2741 LOL BUT water may be howling where you are but many of us are in drought years and water tables are waning. Water is truly one of the most precious elements on (any) planet and a sign of life….we already pollute much of ours, but I am pleased to see commentary on water conservation……and a little elbow grease cleaning of the sink after brushing takes a few seconds.
@@nanaobx
I always turn off the water, bc like I said, I brush my teeth , area by area, & rinsing my brush after ea. area.
Baking soda with a bit of peroxide works well for a first time, then follow up with just baking soda and water a couple times a week.
My son uses peroxide twice a week and his teeth are really white. I was worried and asked his dentist was that okay and he said yes, that’s what people used before there was mouthwash.
My father always used Baking soda and his teeth were always white-white
Baking soda causes a LOT of dentin degrasion. It will take your enamel right off. Peroxide is better used half and half with water, but it will very much cause sensitivity.
Do you mean hydrogen peroxide?
I never heard of brushing twice!
it's killing me how you let the water run for no reason while brushing!
Yep, she’s gonna send you the water bill
Maybe she lives in a rainy place, where water isn't an issue...🤔
why twice - just longer the first time.
I’ve only used the sensitive crest whitening strips or a generic version because my teeth are very sensitive to whitening products. These whitening products can harm your enamel. I rinse my mouth after coffee or food that stains like berries.
These must be implants or veneers. The damage being caused by the different products will cause dehydration in gums. There will be gum erosion and sensitivity for life. There is also the fact the enamel is being damaged in the process that can never be repaired. If you are smart and want white teeth go see the dentist. Trust me this will lead to years of heartache!!!
I’m a RDH and I must say I’m
Impressed!! Will try this method! You have beautiful teeth!!
I knew a girl who has the whitest teeth in 1979. I asked how her teeth are so white and she said "baking soda". It works so well!
I tried whiting strips before and they hurt my teeth so much. I have sensitive teeth. 🤷🏻♀️
This definitely works...
In saying that, you have to have good enamel for the best results.
You're so cute, Annie! I have used those strips and need to get more. I drink coffee & iced tea so especianeed extra care for whiter teeth. Thanks, so much for sharing!
I have trauma @ the running tap water lol.
Why?
why do you let the water run and waste it when you brush your teeth? but thanks a lot for the tips
I wonder if this toothpaste comes in a non flouride?
HELLO at $ Gen.😊
Everyone commenting on what “my dentist says”… your dentist isn’t wealthy from cleanings. Business is business. Don’t be naive.
Exactly
You are so right!! I am 51 years old and my sis in law is a dental hygienist… I never knew until she told me how much goes on behind the scenes in regards to marketing at a dental office to up profits!!! Trust me -they try to sell you their whitening trays plus she has to clean 1 person’s teeth every 30 minutes and that’s very difficult because not all patients are the same. Some might be young with hardly any tartar buildup and others might have a ton of tartar buildup because they haven’t been to the dentist in years and that takes close to an hour. She is so over it because the demands that are placed on her by the dentist to make profits ! It is very stressful for her to meet his profit demands-and all this time I just thought there was a nice dentist in the office and a nice hygienist and they clean your teeth and take x-rays fill a cavity, etc. and then life is good. NOPE-
Do you drink a lot of coffee and tea? I do and it’s very difficult to keep my teeth white.
You are so blessed to have such beautiful healthy teeth. A very nice smile too. Thanks for the video.
She just uses white strips for the full duration of the box, then uses one every month or two, her secret is to brush twice with a whitening toothpaste, brush once and follow up again, do this morning and night 😂
You reminded me of myself doing this years ago & my teeth were white. After having a baby, I have not gotten the time to do this, but yea, that toothpaste & 3D mouthwash works wonder!
I tried a dental whitening system straight from the dentist and it cause me so much teeth pain that it also affected my ear. 😪
Now I’m afraid to use any of that stuff. Do you think this will work for sensitive teeth like mine?
Some ppl just have white teeth, not everyone does, I know ppl who have naturally white teeth by just brushing normally!
Ty for sharing though!
As a dentist, you’re brushing completely incorrectly, and I don’t agree with your ideas you don’t have to brush twice at night and in morning brush once 2 minutes thoroughly with an Oral-B, electric toothbrush, or battery operated Oral-B is probably the best and works in a consistent motion removing plaque from your teeth as you can tell by you and many others, brush inconsistently and irregularly resulting in recession and complete plaque on mobile.
I can't wait to try this. Fingers crossed it works as good for me as it does for you!
Thank you, this was a game changer for my teeth and brushing twice give your mouth a extra clean feeling. Love it!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I used to use all of that but my gums and teeth eventually became so sensitive that it caused me PTSD. That stuff does work though! My teeth were never so white. I had to stop using it, sadly.
That’s what I am afraid. My teeth can look white as snow but may become too sensitive later.
@@jennykim6220 They will. It also caused my gums to recede. Not worth it. Maybe once a year.
Like she said she only used 1 whitening strip a month for a year. That's only 1 box for a whole year then she said she didn't need them anymore!
All the water being wasted while brushing your teeth, turn the tap off while brushing 👌🏽
I been using pulling oil and omg my teeth are white and don’t have any problems with my teeth 🦷
Keep scrubbing your teeth like that and you are going to have gum problems as you age.
It doesnt look like the strips go all the way to your back teeth. So how do you keep them white. Just saying.
I'm sorry but brushing twice literally make no sense, why not just brush for twice as long???
Thank you. Good tip. I will try. I'm 58 my teeth need help
this routine is great....if you have the time. But PLEASE do not let the water run while you're brushing!
Maybe she lives in a swamp.
Stop being a preachy, annoying, finger wagger.
I left my tap running while I wrote this in your honor.
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing.
Okay, Karen 🙄
Some people live in a place with water abundance so it isn’t a problem. Like a well.
@@fishnladyOr a rainy place. If you live in the UK, for example...water is not an issue!
Baking soda and peroxide twice a week works well to whiten teeth.
Great! Thank you! Two questions: if you have 12 in a pack and you put them on for 12 days, how does the pack last you a year and do you keep brushing twice everyday after the 12 days?
Now that her teeth are white, she only uses the strips once a month.😊
Yes to what Gina said. And yes continue to brush twice every time after the 12 days. She says that’s what keeps them white.
She only did that the first time. Now she only uses strips 1xmonth.
Are you taking enamel off your teeth?
Yes.
I used to use all that crap too and they were gorgeous and crazy white. Then my enamel finally gave up. Now my teeth are bonded which, according to my dentist, will last for a few years and then it’s crowns or veneers. If I had only known 😢
Does this cause any sensitivity issues? I'm guessing not if you continue to use it.
My dentist told me not to wet my toothbrush before brushing because it delutes the toothpaste too much.
You have lovely teeth..i may try this! Thanks!
I use crest strips and they work!! I only use it when my teeth start to look dull.
Annie how do you avoid the sensitivity from the strips? Also did you rinse the gel from the strips odd first or just go straight I brushing?
Looks good!
Here in the desert we shut off our water when brushing due to drought. Can't leave it running like that 😅
In some other places, water is not an issue.
U can get them a lot faster by adding baking soda a peroxide to ur toothpaste!
You shouldn't scrub that hard!
I can already feel the lightning storm on my teeth…😫
Thank you so much for sharing.
I've been thinking of getting a whitening treatment but after watching your video, I will follow your advice & see if I'll get some good results. Thanks for sharing 👍
That toothpaste has floride in it though and idk what the strips have, hopefully no bleach??
As been stated previously prob.Hydro.Perox.
I have white teeth- my secret was a dentist told me when I was 12 to never wet my toothbrush- put the toothpaste on and brush ( it gets wet fast) he said if you wet the toothbrush it dilutes the scrubbing power. It works
Nah, that ain't the secret😂
I heard the same!It works!
Or just spray it w/peroxide works also!
That's what I tell my kids.
@@anzelac5808 now that works. I get compliments all the time. I make a mouthwash with food grade peroxide, water, peppermint essential oil.

Thank you so much for sharing. Beautiful teeth!!!
Invest in an electric toothbrush, floss floss floss, I use Crest Whitening strips and I brush once in the morning and before bedtime. And brush your teeth gently !
Why use chemicals not knowing the long time all around side effects
If you eat anything from the grocery store you are ingesting chemicals

Do you have any advice as to why you think this particular tube of toothpaste by Crest works so well? Also, do you order yours online or you shop at the store? Thank you.
Wondered that too!
@@Sbannmariein my experience using the toothpaste, my teeth did get whiter. I purchased mine at the Walmart store and found that the cost was at least double the amount I normally pay. I doubt I will continue buying it because my teeth are pretty white as it is and I think with this economy right now I have to make good decisions on my spending. I hope my extra thoughts help you.
I have tried everything and nothing works . I have been using the trays with with light and the purple toothpaste . And hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse . It’s been years since I’ve tried the strips but I will try again
I love GLAMOROUS WHITE! it’s all I buy!

I use Crest 3D whitening toothpaste vibrant peppermint I usually brush twice a day but now I will be up in that since I saw your video and then I follow it through with a mouthwash by Crest extra whitening I also do use the Crest White Strips level 28 my teeth look good
Ur going lose the enamel
My whole life, I've brushed my teeth twice in the morning and twice at night. The first round is to clean, and the second round freshens the breath after getting the funk out.
Thank you!
Read the label ... chemical sludge ... you also are destroying your enamel.
Overuse will cause permanent damage to the enamel.
Where I can whitninhtsrips and crest toothpaste in the Netherlands?
Maybe Amazon?
I wish my teeth were as white as my legs!
thank you! I had a dentist whitening treatment which lasted about 5 or 6 years. Since then have tried a few things but still not pleased with the outcome. I'll be giving this a try!
I use these strips but I’m getting me some of that toothpaste.
I have been using Lumineux whitening strips and they haven’t even whitened my teeth. And they probably aren’t doing them any good as far as enamel erosion.
I was searching for this comment. I thought they were the cleaner version. If they don't work, they're coming out of my Walmart cart. 😂
Thanks for sharing this, I will definitely try this. My bridges are whiter than my real teeth, so if this gets my teeth as white as them, it will be an improvement. You gave a good demonstration, keep up the good work. God bless you.
That toothpaste you showed you use is what I use to keep my teeth white I don't use whitening strips at all also use regular Colgate toothpaste don't really need to waste money on whitening strips when that toothpaste paste works great but if you want to it's all fine I personally don't need to
Sadly, for those of us who took antibiotics prior to adult teeth coming in, getting beautiful white teeth is not going to happen ☹️
Yes, so true! 😔
Oh interesting🤔Why is that??
@@nailedbykayyBecause the teeth are dark on the inside of the tooth, not the surface. Bonding or veneers only solution
The video is sponsored by the brand she’s promoting.
I used to use peroxide gel from my dentist. That was years ago until the laws changed and more research was carried out. Hydrogen peroxide really damages enamel. My teeth always feel slight rough at the front now. I was warned but I went ahead and did it. At least I admit my mistake. I was watching a movie the other day that was made in the 90s. Before people started to all look perfect snd fake. It was great to see the actors with normal looking teeth. Oh and no mobile phones or talk of social media. Ah… those were the days.
Back to teeth …… my dentist says use baking soda. So I do. 😊
