I had a lot of questions about these devices, but this video pretty much answered ALL of them. Forums out there just don't talk about the important things covered in this video.
The CQB-L by Steiner is NOT an introductory laser, its focus was on close in fighting...hence CQB-L, Close Quarters Battle Laser. Originally designed at the request of the USSS for use on the Hk MP-7. The request was for light weight and both visible and IR lasers, they are co-aligned. If you zero one the other is automatically zeroed. The LA-5
Primary & Secondary ok thanks because I saw the MAWL-C1+ for civilians and it is about $2500 and I guess that's a good starting point if I want to move in to night vision? But still use as a visible laser along with a sf m300 scout with ir capability.
Just saying... most are made in China. Steiner is not that I am aware of but I have some sweet Holosun red dots and i just ordered a Holosun (LS117r) and the reason why I ordered that particular laser is because the quality of Holosun is top notch. I am not sure why they are trying to knock off but I read somewhere Sig Sauer and Steiner were in its class. So if you go knock off, or in this case name brand (Holosun) kinda knock off... go Holosun. You can thank me later 👊🏼💥
*"I don't need brakes, I know that my wheels are spinning and the handle bar works fine."* Tell that to a company that needs to manufacture 750,000 laser units to push out into the public and world militaries. No, they don't need to include a $.001 screw so that 500 men can train safely. Recalls and retrofits are fine. You're a really smart guy, but you need to lay off bragging unless it's your company.
@@PrimaryAndSecondary No. Just someone who writes in full sentences. It sounds really cool every time that you say "software problem" but /maybe/ they thought it through, and the liability and damage to their rep just isn't worth it. I've personally watched co-workers do R&D on several products. The degree of stress and long hours just doesn't lend itself to the carelessness of leaving out a couple of screws.

This is by far the best informational video for IR/VIS lasers
I just learned more in this 20min video about Lasers than I have the last 6 Months!!! (And I was right..... WAY OUT OF MY LANE!)

I want the mawl-c+ so bad. Thank you for the video
Awesome, what’s the prices on these
Great stuff guys thanks .
Great information. Thanks
Peq 15 has the same lighting feature on the back of the unit letting you know the laser is active like the mawl, js.
Great info 👍
What kind of warrants are you serving that require NODS?
look them up and let us know
@@PrimaryAndSecondary Oh I think I misunderstood when you were talking about warrants when you were showing the capabilities of your illuminators.
We never see Blowers anymore?
Ild love to find me an LA-5 UHP
Do you need nv goggles to use a laser and if so how much does it cost for entry level night vision?
Matthew Nagle of the laser is IR you need nvg. 3k in good entry level

Dont forget the cost of helmets, The actual NVD, shrouds, Mounts, counter weights and a device for your rifle such as a Mawl C1.
What about PEQ 16’s?
I love my LA-5B. Set me back a little but it’s lasted me almost 3 hours years and countless rifle torture tests
Its lasted how long??
And how much is a little?... only one I've found is like 4k (not sure how overpriced that is...)
Cookies205 well you can be sure the military isnt paying 4K for them
Cookies205 got mine for 3100. And 3 years. I was a little intoxicated typing that
how much does the MAWL-DA cost?
About as much as a good rifle, Surefire, optic, sling, & 1000 bullets.
You’d have to find one first...
The Mawl is one BAMF
Range??
"It has as much power as a squashed lightning bug", lol
Great stuff....shitty focus......but packed with a ton of useful info!!
Isn't this the "given 'em the bees" guy?...
It is. It is Chuck Pressburg of Presscheck Consulting.
I have been thinking of buying a Chinese knockoffs of these lasers just to see if they even come close.
That mawl is 2500-3k it won’t come close at all.
Maybe try the Sight Mark Lopro series which average around $200. I have heard good things about the Lopro that has IR and the Lopro Mini (w/out IR)

So you make a 20 minute video but don’t show any of the devices in use under nods?
+mountainman multicam going over technical aspects and features.
