I tried this game back then, it was nothing to write home about but it was impressive how little latency you felt, it kind of made you wish Stadia wouldn't shut down. I wish Stadia had been successful, it had so much potential, but their business model just didn't make sense compared to other platforms, and they barely had worthwhile games that would be difficult to access without a beefy PC or Console, I mean why would I buy small indie games on Stadia when they can run on a potato? Yet that's mostly what they had available.
Yeah exactly, if stadia had a gamepass style model I think it could have been really neat for those where internet is cheap but hardware isn't, that and it's great for trying games as it's like a minute and you're in game. But man the last thing we needed was another console, let alone one that you're renting at best. I certainly wasn't rooting for stadia to close but it didn't make sense for what it was marketed as.
I believe Stadia would've benefited a lot by doing something like Nvidia does with GeForce Now, allowing players to play the games they already own on other storesc while also allowing players to buy games directly from Google. I really liked the idea of a controller that communicates directly to the server instead of having to go through another device that forwards the inputs to the server, and that is something no other streaming service offers
Intriguing
Waiting for the joshwa cameo

@@ddnava96 Actually Amazon Luna has a controller that does the same thing, it's a really uncomfortable controller from what I've heard though.
