As a black woman, let me tell you why it's so "offensive". It seems as though transwomen boil womanhood down to skirts, make-up, and rudeness. It is diminishing to be reduced to make-up and clothes, especially when we are already treated as INVISIBLE. Yes, we do get whatnot feels like to be marginalized but, and I stand on this, WE ARE NOT THE SAME. Yes, our differences make us beautiful, yes, we should and can be allies, however, we are not the same, and to me, that's okay. I think the whole purpose of identifying as “TRANS-woman”instead of just “woman” is to highlight the fact that they are NOT the same as a person assigned female at birth, however that doesn’t meant that they should be treated any differently

Have to be fair to Angela, it's not always the easiest for all mothers to accept that their child identifies as transgender. AND maybe that's her position as of now. Maybe there's a chance that more time is needed, she even said in another video that as her son is transitioning Angela is transitioning too. So she's having a hard time right now and it's ugly but maybe in all fairness to her, as the MOTHER of a child who was born a SON maybe she's more hurt than angry but it comes out as angry. Remember this, she gave birth to her son, he didn't give birth to her. That's the main difference.

The issue for me is people don’t realize how many men where like they in history before but because society didn’t agree they hid All this from the world, married a woman had kids and then the wife of distraught because her she fine pictures of her husband in women clothes. This interview hit me in so many places, and in so many ways. First of all, I got a ain't ish mom as well, and I understand the need to remove someone, ANYONE from your life. And second, I have a transgendered daughter who is only 7 years old, and it's like as a parent, how in the HELL can you not be your childs safe place? Eff women who bare children, but are not mothers. And babeee, you are gorgeous!!!! So flipping beautiful! That's her loss. That's why I advocate for building villages. It takes a village to raise a child right, and my love, keep doing you! My mother also said that she wished she had aborted me, and I can understand trying to build that armor to protect yourself, but please do not become hardened, because it can destroy the part of you that makes you, you.
