Not only does she sing this aria beautifully and with fantastic precision and clarity in the rapid passages. Her English is so good that she makes one think that it is her native language.
Writing as an Englishman, I entirely agree with your second sentence.
If you don't mind: I, as a German, agree with both sentences.
It is their profession. If the audience can't understand what the person is singing, then it is pointless to go on the stage. The melody line isn't only the vowels but the consonants have to be heard as well for it to make sense. One well known piece called, Una furtiva lagrima, would sound like: u-a-u-i-a-a-i-a if the consonants were taken away.
Then we can jump to the germanic languages where there are couple of other ones: Ä, Ö and U with two dots.
So much beautiful music has been done through out the years and now people listen to boom-boom-boom. It's a cultural devolution.
She is AMAZING!!! Her coloratura is so IMPRESSIVE and with such a full beautiful sound. Bravaaa

Not only is her singing totally beautiful, but her English accent is immaculate - I speak as a Brit myself... better than some British singers I can think of. Most precise.

@@EC2019 She is a German singer, and the Z in German has a very specific sound... this of how the z in the word Mozart sounds... I would forgive her this! anyhow she is a beautiful singer.

Tempo is faster than I've usually heard. It matches perfectly her skill, and that of the orchestra, especially starting at 3:00. Superb.

Hallo Thomas, Antwort zu Satz 1: NEIN! - zu Satz 2: Absolute Zustimmung meinerseits, zu Satz 3: Auch ich neige mein Haupt ehrfürchtig vor Regula, vor ihrer göttlichen Stimme, ihrer natürlichen Ausstrahlung, ihrem Charme. (Den hat man oder auch nicht. Erlernen lassen sich weder Charme noch natürliche Ausstrahlung. Beides ist angeboren.)
Wir können uns glücklich schätzen, sie zu erleben. So betrachtet leben wir in der richtigen Zeit.

@@eckardkruger6650 Hallo eckardkruger. Danke für deine lieben Kommentare. Ich war die letzten 9 Wochen in 3 Konzerten von Regula. Das war das beste und schönste, was ich je gehört und gesehen habe. Ich habe jetzt mehrere Konzertveranstalter angeschrieben, Regula auch mal nach Stuttgart einzuladen.

@@richardforshaw8479 Radiant, that's the right word. Her charisma and charm are so natural, you can't learn such. Both of us are no longer the youngest, but we are lucky enough to live at a time when we enjoy wonderful, divine voices. And one of these voices gives us Regula. We can only be grateful for this.
I wrote 'Hi om' beforehand. Well, I was still a guest in another world because I spoke to a former hobby friend. We were both radio amateurs, and they call themselves 'old man' in short: 'om'. - A woman is an 'ol', an 'old lady', which has nothing to do with the age of the lady. An unmarried woman is a 'yl', young lady. If this lady is now married, then she becomes an 'xyl'. Understood?
These and hundreds of other abbreviations come from the time when there were only telegraphy and no telephony. I preferred telegraphy and the Morse alphabet. At the time I had contacts around the globe. It was an interesting and good time. - Long, long ago, oh, long ago.
