Eddie, I have to say that I agree you shouldn't have peed at the corner especially in front of a business. If it was BaoHaus or your Father's restaurant you wouldn't want the same to be done even if disrespect was not your intentions. As broken down as Detroit is, that shouldn't be an excuse to treat it more as such. I've read your book and watched these episodes and I respect where you're from and is headed/heading but it doesn't give anyone that right to do what they please.

being from detroit, i was honestly so excited to watch this episode but it was so disappointing. this was like one of the most boring episodes yet, it made detroit look like a desolate shit hole and left so much out. there is so much of the hood that they didn't show, prosperous areas, multicultural areas, detroit is so much more than burned down buildings and cheap living.

Dude, not everybody has seen these. They're probably trying to get people who've only subscribed to Munchies and don't care about Vice up to date on what Eddie's all about; rebranding the old episodes and uploading them here is the easiest way to do that. It'll also cut down on confusion not having the same show have two different names.
From what I read off the Vice website, the Fresh off the Boat name got bought out by ABC to turn Eddie's book into a TV show. They are now taking all the old episodes and re-uploading them here everyday until the last old episode and then the new season will come out.
