That first run reminded me of my skiing frustration dreams. Usually there is a problem(s) getting to the slopes. If I make it to the resort, there are problems with my gear or the lift ticket. If I do get to the top of the mountain, something breaks. On the rare times I actually do get off a lift and ski, after a few dozen meters I run out of snow. When I used to teach writing in college, the dreams were I wasn't prepared, I didn't know where my room was, and when the students finally get in their seats, I don't know what I am supposed to teach. And when I was a student, I was never prepared, or my life and career depended on reciting in front of the entire class, and my mind is a blank. Don't care much for sleeping.
Strange, I don't remember having any dreams or recurring dreams about skiing but I have had plenty to do with university exams, which were similar to yours. Not prepared for the exam but also knowing that I have already passed, kind of wierd...
Looking forward to next year and fresh snow!
Cheers!
