Funny. At 82, many of my clothes are over 20 years old!
Now to determine if i am making them "modern". I have removed shoulder pads. Also, my granddaughter loves some of my older clothes. A leather jacket and 1960 cashmere sweater were both hits with her!

Those are great finds Daria! As soon as you showed the printed skirt I thought you were going to get it; it has so many of your wardrobe's colors and I think one of your printed jackets has the same colors. And you had a "love at first sight" moment with that peach jacket! I am happy to see you are treating yourself and enjoying Bucharest after that quick move from Portugal.

I've had the most success buying secondhand pieces to replicate pieces already in my wardrobe (which have worn out). I know the brand, style and size I'm looking for so no risk 😊😊😊

You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! For blazers or jackets, if they're not washable at home, I usually take them to a professional cleaner who specializes in delicate or vintage items. It ensures they're cared for properly!

Good memory! Yes, I did mention exploring more with greens but I didn't see anything worth adding to my wardrobe this time. That skirt was too good to pass up, and I'm thrilled you love it too. The belt was indeed a great find alongside it!
Is it just me or does it seem like Europe has much better vintage /thrift stores? The US seems like it’s mostly fast fashion in our secondhand stores

I agree! The vintage stores I have found in the US aren't good at curating their collections. The US has a lot more poor-quality clothing, too. We are cheap people, and it shows 😂.
@@srslyawkward3095 I agree! I have been trying to thrift a lot of my wardrobe but most of the clothes in them are Target, Old Navy, Walmart, Shein, etc. which I find don't last very long :/
