@@mdibrar2935 budget depends on how much you are willing to spend. There are alternatives to everything. easiest way to catch a kingfish is not with jigs. it is with live bait.

Those are actually cheap hooks outside of the US. There are better options from brands like Owner...

Try that and see why its not a good idea.
For a safety measure try using some clear plastic/ rubber on the hook point as a guard. Great video.

where do u buy your tackle from in the uae ? i never am able to find the small swivels
they are around, but hard to find. check in barracuda in shk zayed road, they have some from time to time.

the ones I use here for assist hooks are the thick size. there are thinner sizes.
