Forty years later someone does a great cover of it, but it has to exist in the first place for anyone to be able to cover it. This cover is a great, truthful and respectful homage, made in 2023 by fantastic musicians with all the resources and technology available to them. There are plenty of singers better than John Lennon but when they cover a Beatles song it doesn't make it 'better' than the Beatles.

My first time listening is almost always on my Samsung Flip 4. It has a crappy speaker and still your music sounds great. Subsequently I listen on proper speakers and sometimes through headphones.

As usually, perfect playing and musicianship. Bravo!!! This cover revealed how smart this song is arranged and produced. For that matter, Spandau Ballet is underestimated. But, this is not the reason why I decided to leave here a comment. Mr Hadley is such a great singer, but I think he is also underestimated - his soulful, melodic and slick singing is really top of the notch. Therefore, a huge BRAVISSIMO goes to Darren, for his singing on this cover. Man, you've succeed to catch all those Tony's nuances and "ornaments". That's outstanding! My hat, as musician, goes down! 🙌🙌🙌
