Brillant! I saw the title first and tought "Who will be on lead vocals?" Didn't immediately think of Andy, but it is just SO good. What a difference a tone down makes! Subbing the Tenor Sax for the 15th keyboard line is genious, and an accoustic set rather than a Roland 808 makes my day any day :-) Damo, brilliant as usual, not using a frettless makes it even better. Two of my favourite guitarists, adding a little "love boat" disco strumming and Darren, so calm and composed on ONE keyboard ! The original production took three producers and 5 other staff to lay down the finished product - and here some "nerd" does it in his basement.... This is the "closest but not the same" cover I've heard you do, it stands so well on its own. And what I call the "surrogate downbeat" @4:50 made my evening. Thanks !!

Thanks for all your hard work guys. Absolutely, fantastically awesome! That song brings back many great memories of my college years. Every one of you is spot on. No doubt in my mind, it sounds better than Spandau’s original. Just a thought…..At the end, when all the guys are singing “this much is true”, you should have Nikki step in & sing with them in her soprano or her falsetto. As a musician myself, that’s the only change I’d make! 😊 That would superbly top that off at the end! I’ve listened to y’all for a long time, but have never commented. I greatly appreciate what you do, and can’t wait for the next masterpiece.

When you have a beautiful, immortal song that requires a deep, powerful voice with tons of character Andy Seymour is the perfect choice, and he excels every time. Gorgeous rendition!
Somebody else mentioned Andy smiling during the sax solo. When a performer is able to put their own performance drive aside and be happy for the success of another performer, it says a lot about them as a person.

I can close my eyes and still see this video from when this song first came out on MTV 😌. Young men in blue suits playing their instruments and the singer up front 😌. My God, how time has flown by 😔. Now I'm 62 y/o. Thank you gentlemen for the 3 minutes of youthful feeling. Music is my fountain of youth. When I hear a song from the 80's I can take a trip back in time and remember watching that song on MTV and what I was doing.😊

That song is absolute gold !! Quite possibly the most beautiful love ballad ever recorded. Recreated superbly more than 40 years later. Sand's a time of it's own, indeed. Everything was perfect. Bold sax.
Andy Seymour does not sound like anyone else. His voice is up there with Tom Jones, Bill Medley and of course Tony Hadley, Bill Withers, etc... But you could hear him on the radio and know it was him. He always sings in his own style....very authentic. Cheers

Andy coming back is such a big occasion that it requires special attire! I always love when he Seymourizes these old classics. It gives them new life without losing the essence of the song. I hope you recorded a few more with him while he was in the studio.

Andy's voice is just so rich, deep, and smooth, and those BGV's were absolutely superb! This song always seems to have a "magic" about it and immediately takes me back to the awesome sounds of the 80's. The instruments and mixing are very well balanced with nothing overpowering another. The only thing I would change is the musicians with their hair in pony tails like women. Andy smiling and grooving during the sax solo was great!
The Band wrapping itself around the dulcet tones of Andy...the great Sax vibe 🎷🎷... this is the way Saturday morning was meant to be ❤

Wow. Absolutely brilliant ! One of my fave 80s songs that brings back memories and vibes of good times. And what a performance! One of the best cover bands of all time right here. The musicianship is always other-worldly! Incredible bass playing and tone. Keys. Drums. The twin-guitar attack is subtle but wonderful. And the vocals - as always. Just amazing. Love what Darren and his crew does!
