What that means is he tried to do the bumper in one shot and he did a relief cut in the center where the license plate would sit. you can do it this way and get a much nicer result he just got lazy and left that whole without patching it. Where as the guy who did the repair used an inlay technique which works but the seem of the overlay of vinyl is visible. Each shop has their technique or way of doing things but if you can offer 2 options and let the customer decide its always better.

Just because a shop charges preimum rates it doesn't guarantee preimum quality.

But can you can get a car full custom painted however you want for less then a wrap? No, It takes people days to spray out designs that a graphic designer can do and print in an hour.
I'm old school and can appreciate someone who gets their cars painted than wrapped with vinyl. I just don't understand them and why people want to waste their money on them considering if you don't take the right care of them they aren't going to last.
Some people would like to protect the original paint, but change the color of their car every now and then. I won't do it to my own car, but I'm not against wrapping if it is done properly.

great job on fixing that wrap. I've done well over a thousand commerical wraps but I try to avoid color change because im not a mechanic to remove parts, not insured on my own and most of the people that approach me want it cheap because they found the vinyl for 500.00 and my 1600.00- 2k price is "outrageous" so they go get it done cheap and their car looks worse than this one did.
