At the end of the day it's your car, and your vision of how you want the car to look. A lot of people who come into the car scene take advice from others on how to build their car. But if you're doing that, you're simply building the car for others to like. Many people lose their vision and build their cars so that others would like it, it isn't about impressing others, it's about building the car to how you envisioned it when you bought the car off the lot. Someone will always disagree with something you do, how you should've done this or that, but that's how they believe the car should've been modded and that's not hate that's their input. At the end of the day, it's your car, your money, and if you build for others you might end up never truly loving the outcome.

Despite the negative feedback I think that this is the best way to own a wrx\sti: keep the engine and turbo kit as stock as possible. Exterior mods are cool, but as for me I'd rather spend amount of money that spoiler cost on suspension upgrade (f.x. Tein Street Flex with top version of EDFC controller). Also I'd probably do a brakes upgrade to 4-6 pot from STI version. Regarding exhaust upgrade - I missed whether you changed down-pipe or not, if not, in my opinion this is the must. In general this is nice way to own new WRX\STI. Peace :)

Nice Work!! I did my black wrx 2018. I went with same intake and got volk te37 time attacks with red stripe. But Ohluns Road and Track coilovers, instead of springs, sits same height as yours. I'm a bit old for wings went with deck lid and back window spoilers, painted body color. And I did a full turbo back exhaust, cobb down pipe meeting an Invidia cat back exhaust. Inside did a short shifter, with perrin shift stop, bushing and trans. plate. Solid as can be. Redid shift boot and ebrake boot in alcantara yeah I copied the m2,3,and 4. And redid my custom controls onto an alcantara steering wheel. And my piece de resistance my Bride Eurosters in the deleted nutrient (fake) leather. They recline but great seats for all during, comfort and sweet looking. Well then came the electronics. Full focal sound system. With two punching well above their size, boxed subs, that fill up perfectly that small space in trunk behind the seats. Giving me still a massive trunk. I went with a black and re theme, so I murdered out the badging on trunk except for the Subaru symbles front, back and wrx letters on both sides to black and red. Bought an expensive alarm, and for any on who's interested, she's for sale. jarrettbaines@outlook.com Trust me there arn't many built this well. All work by reputable companies in Vancouver and Nanaimo. Full receipts for most everything. Steering wheel and coil overs were used, 4,000k's. Still brand new and wheel never used, except by me. Thanks for reminding me why I should've bought a wrx instead of an impreza. I like the Impreza, so its not a huge deal, but I wanted something a bit faster. Also, while I may not personally be a fan of some of your mods here, it's not my car. Pursue your passion how you want. I think it's cool, I dig the splitters and the lowered ride. And who doesn't like a good ol Cobb tune?

Great looking ride, and great video. Can’t believe all the hate because you said build and they all think it means the engine is going to be modified. Gotta make sure that warranty covers something for the first few thousand miles in my opinion. And to me it’s built, doesn’t have to be engine modifications. These are the mods I would have done except the license plate position, there is a mod where it is under the lip of the car then it can pop up when there is a cop around so you don’t get a ticket

All those mods and a stock shift knob lol. Nice mods man. I'd say we went in a very similar route. Only difference is I never went with the diffusers or the wing. Did you ever run into any transmission problems? My reverse went out after like 16K. Subaru also denied my warranty claim and said my coilovers caused the transmission to go out lol.
I've never seen someone want to take the fogs out lol but ok. Lovin the rear fog though. Nice build tho. Im going to get a wrx project car soon. I have my Legacy as my daily. def subscribing to your channel :)
For everyone who thinks that this is rice: Engine mods void the warranty and unless you can pay for a new car its wise to keep your car under warranty. He's far past that but this is defense for anyone who only does cosmetic mods. I personally have a new 2020 WRX and I don't exactly have a couple grand to shell out if the motor blows. I'm not against mods but im not going to void a warranty for something I can't replace. This is also his daily so you can't blame him for keeping internals mostly stock. Everyone talks abt engine mods but if you wanna keep yourself outta trouble and have a car that constantly runs, minimal mods and cosmetic accessories is the way to go. Especially if you live in a state like cali where you can get a state ref for having a modded engine. Alot of people like to shit but in reality there's nothing wrong with what hes doing and honestly the people that talk most this shit are usally immature car enthusiasts. If the build doesn't work for you, that doesn't mean its a bad build.
