In the first instance, she should have told them that if the wrap wasn't redone, she'd be instructing a solicitor and then once the car was keyed, she'd should have reported it all to the police. When you damage a car like that, it goes way beyond a civil matter.

Every wrap company be sweating if their wrap shows up on this series🤣 I’m glad he’s honest about the odd little tricks of the trade used to compromise in places. I’ve seen various levels of yiannimize wraps over the years and to be fair all to a fairly good standard, no wrap will ever be 100% perfect, it’s a human laying a piece of vinyl at the end of the day.

Only time i ever took down some wrap i did on a car or a vinyl adverts i put on some business was when they refused to pay me for months on end and made it clear they wouldn't, happened three times in 6 years. One guy only had to pay me for the design and print, he was starting his business and actually brought me clients so i did a 3 and a half hour install of micro-perforated vinyl and cut letters for free on a Sunday, that's usually a 400€ bill by itself.

No you should definitely tell EVERYONE what the company is so they don’t get any business because why should they deserve any customers. This will happen again and again to more customers some of which probably saved their hard earned money. Some of which haven’t got £3-8k for a wrap or respray.

There's no way that purple wrap was anywhere approaching satisafactory quality. I'd have immediately spoken to a solicitor. What the company did afterwards was criminal damage. Someone should have gone to prison for that.

You are also paying for the time and experience/workmanship (it's not easy at all), the cost of materials are sometimes almost irrelevant, not just in wrapping cars.
I mean, for starters, a good quality wrap doesn't cost pennies, but you also just seem to be entirely glossing over the time and skill required to apply a wrap properly. That's what you're paying for, as previous episodes have shown, anyone can wrap a car for cheap, but only those with the skill and experience can have it actually look good at the end.
@@knoxyish that's besides the point of a wrap, a wrap is a temporary change, and it protects the paint, you also don't have to declare the change with the dvla as it is temporary.
