- In February of 2006, Hawthorne Heights played live at the Chicago Auto Show for Jimmy Kimmel Live! They played an entire set. "Saying Sorry" was broadcast on the show.

aww.. casey i miss you. this is one of the hardest songs for me to listen to now that casey's gone even though it's almost been a year, it's still sad.

i love this band, i only listen to their songs now. im kinda late anyway. RIP Casey Calvert. I hear him how he screams on their live performances. he;s a monster. I really like this band.

what most people don't realize is, ANY movement that a person makes while singing is going to alter their voice in some way. that includes playing guitar. so it's nearly impossible to sound "perfect" while playing. he sounds pretty good for a change, i must say.

thats true, but he didnt MEAN to do himself any harm, it was just a medical intoxication due to his dental medicines and his anti-depression tablets. i miss him so much its unbeliveable. his screams were awesome, tbh he was my favourite screamer, i dont know why but his screams were just different. full of feelings tbh lol :P i miss him so much D:

Most bands don't play as good live as they do on the recordings. A few do, and that makes for some kickass shows. But most don't.
Avenged Sevenfold's show for Afterlife? One of the best live shows I've ever seen.

I loved Casey and I still do, I love hawthorne Heights still too. But I don't go around saying I miss Casey because he will always be remembered and he will always be with hawthorne heights. No matter what
what ppl dont see is the fact that when recording in a studio they record the music and the vocals at a different time. On stage you have to play sing and move around which takes alot of energy and leaves ppl breathless which makes the vocals worse since they are trying to yell over the music kthxbaiiii

I am not saying that screamo in general is unique! Okay I was saying Casey Calverts voice and scream was unique because it wasnt like those screamo bands screams. It wasnt like those and it wasnt that good but it made their songs unique so it was very difficult to copy. I am not saying that screamo is amazing or anything. Yes I listen to different types of music (death metal, screamo, rock ect) but I am not saying that screamo is just a phase too.

Hawthorne Heights are not emo , they are post hardcore/alternative with emo tendencies so i guess you can could call them emo in that sense

that is kinda the definition of a drug overdose you ingest drugs and die or almost die they dont have ot be illegal drugs or even recreational drug use you can overdose on any chemical
Show me a band that sounds better live than they do on the album, and I'll be impressed. They almost never sound as good live. But that's the point of live performances, to see them, and prove that they're human.
The screamer sounds better live than he did in the album, actually.
